Akita Eri to graduate from SUPER☆GiRLS by ustar on January 19, 2012 at 3:07 am It’s just been revealed that SUPER☆GiRLS‘ Akita Eri will be graduating from the group in order to focus her studies. She plans to enter an university after graduating from high school this spring. Akita will graduate on February 5th after the group’s live concert, “SUPER☆GiRLS Chouzetsu Shoujo 2012 Memorial“. This event at the Nippon Seinenkan will be released through DVD on March 28th. Akita commented, “In the beginning, I had set my mind to juggle both school and idol life. I promised my family, staff, and my teachers at school that I would do my best in both. However, I felt I was neglecting one over the other, and I started to feel like I was getting caught in a dilemma.” This will be the first time a member will graduate from SUPER☆GiRLS. At Tokyo Idol Festival 2011 they had for at least one song backdancers in T-shirts. What these girls were? Other, independent groups supporting? Kind of KKSies? And which girl is that above? I cannot link her well with any of girls seen performing.
I'm glad it's not Ruka who is graduating! I think she is the core of their sound. Without Ruka, Super girls would be just another wanna be idol group.

I LOVE SUPER☆GiRLS! I don't know the individual members yet, but I bought their new album and I love it! Their PVs are so good! I have their new single and their new concert on preorder! Can't wait to get them, and I also ordered their first concert and first album. They are really good. And so cute
