Hi! I'm currently an undergraduate university student, doing a minor in Japanese culture. I am currently doing a research project on modern Japanese entertainment, and am looking into JPop idol culture. While there are various academic pieces written about this subculture, there are not many that actually utilize the voices of fans and their community, especially that of international fans.
