Yep, I'm guessing it's a mixture of bad makeup (contrary to TV and lives where she professionals do the makeup for her), being tired and maybe even gaining some weight. She almost looks like Serika.

I don't know... if you look at her SSK poster, she's smiling very similarly to the above pic, yet definitely not any heavier in the face than now... and I'm sure in the beginning (prior to her selection for center and prior to STU KKS-ship) there was a lot more stress to mess with a woman's endocrine system (way more complex than a male's). Her official STU member pic doesn't have her smiling at all, so her face seems slimmer. TBH... if it's makeup that's the source of her possible chub, then Ayanan needs a lesson from Tomu as well. Hey, she's 19, popular, and has quite a bit of responsibility in the shiny new J48G. Some fat-shaming is going to happen in the trolldom, obviously.

^ with Paruru and Renacchi in particular... I think it may even have affected their idol personas to a degree. NGT's Anju IMO, also has this... but given an HKT-Hanachan-like dental makeover, I think she'd be stunning. With Yumirin though... her personality really doesn't gel with non-smiling tbh... esp with her famous 'ehheheh'. It wasn't something I was bothered with at first seeing her on SR, so perhaps it's just more obvious in stills to you rather than video...
