Tano and her parents were the winners of this episode's song writing contest. Megu-chan cried after the performance, which I find adorable considering how close friends they are. She also said she'd met Tano's dad before. They also poked fun at her dad's shirt, which was pointed out before me as well haha

She is currently rehearsing for THE CIRCUS stage a lot (reminder, it starts in 11 days!), so most of what she posts on social media is her talking about rehearsals. She seems to get along well with the cast too, as she posts pictures of them a lot too. I'm glad she's comfortable with them!

The "Linking Love" website has now added an Introduction tag and brought back the Story tag (not sure if anyone even noticed but they had made the link unavailable. Luckily, we got to read/translate it before they removed it but now it's back anyway). Also, not sure if I have mentioned this before, the idol group Tano forms with her mother will be called ASG16 (the school is called Aoyama Seiryo Gakuin), so another reference at AKB48.

i'm not familiar with momm!! so i'm currently wondering if she's going to appear with akb or alone?

 

from what i remember, it's usually 1-2 members of a group that appears, alongside other acts/soloists etc so i would assume it's just her or her with someone else in 48g

The musical "The Circus!" finally opened today, I was in charge of musical composition. I wrote these songs from within my heart and the wonderful cast gave them a life and soul. I was impressed by the seats in the audience [probably means how many people were there].

Disclaimer ahead; I was too lazy for a literal translation so it's just a gist of things. I also left out a lot that didn't concern Tano, but I think you probably won't mind that too much anyway.

The dancing is called very sharp and good, the musical itself is relatively comical and the music is very pop-music. The heavy scenes aren't too intense thanks to the dances and the good songs. It seems to be very dance-induced play, with gimmicks such as back flips and similar movements.

I apologise, I went on a spontaneous holiday and won't be able to update until I'm back. So unfortunately, I won't be here to tell all the greatest news about Tano, but expect a huge update either on Sunday or Monday!!

is it just me or a lot of people on this thread are also komi fans? it's weird since there aren't many similarities between them

 

^I'm also a Komi fan and the bizarre coincidence for me is that I can still clearly remember the very first episode of AKBINGO I ever saw back in early 2015 (just after I became an AKB48 fan) when just two particular girls on that show grabbed my attention for the first time - one was Tano and the other was Komi!
