Even though Tano has clearly stating that it's just her senior? And it wasn't even a big scandal. They just walked. They didn't even holding hands.

And about the rank. Idk. I wish I could buy her more vote but I'm too broke. Struggling to even just buy 1 vote.

Tano-chan ranked 99th in 2016 and outside 100th in 2017. Unfortunately her supporters are shrinking.

 

Yes and no.
Years after years it's more difficult to enter the ranking.
Compared to last year, it required something like 2000 more votes to be 100th.
Maybe Yuuka's fanbase couldn't improve it's strength enough. It doesn't mean it became smaller.

 

From 2016 to '17 there was a raise of 1-3k votes for members (with the exception of huge drops like Komiharu or the NGT girls) so pretty similar. Thing is, Tano lost 10,000 between 2015 and '16. I don't think she gained (m)any fans between last year and now, to be honest... I just hope people will realise that Tano is putting more energy into AKB again and how much she loves AKB. Because we can see that she would be successful enough without the group, but she stays because she loves the group and its members.

 

Tanochan would've been more popular if she was in a sister group but she never got many opportunities in akb

 

Seeing as SKE's strong point has always been their dance and choreography, I think she might have fit in with them quite well. However, I never really paid much attention to any sister group except NGT recently so I wonder if I'd even known about her... For selfish reasons I'm quite glad she's in AKB. But I do agree with you.

She did though. Remember when there was time she as a regular on Bingo? Documentary? Senbatsu singles and numerous B-sides? tbh she didn't really capitalize on these opportunities and her rebellious teen years didn't really help her career.

She would be even less popular imo if she was with sister groups.

 

^that's what I was gonna say... She got promoted earlier than the rest of her gen, was ranking in sousenkyo since she was a kks, won the Wiz audition, was a regular on all the AKB shows and even had her own documentary... Aside from Juri and Tomu, who had to actually catch up to surpass her, she is probably the most successful of the 12 gen... She's def had her fair share of success but it seems like most people here lately equate success to being a center or something... A large majority of idols never even see the opportunities people like Tano get, most are just doomed to be nothing more than theater girls until graduation

Hm, I suppose you're right. I've only been a fan of the 48g since late 2015/early 2016 so a lot of the stuff I know is from within the last year, but of course you're right. I sometimes forget about those things, even though I know they happened now that you mention it

I don't know lmao I actually never watch ANN/listen to it... I just list what it says on akb48.co.jp/schedule for her. They seem to list every member for those kind of things, maybe because of the possibility of AKB being mentioned or a song being played

 

For ANN, they list it like that cuz the scheduled members is set to change and they announce the members usually 1 or 2 days ahead.
