Tanpopo

Tsunku just announced on his blog that he will revive Tanpopo.
Just like he is doing with MiniMoni at the moment.

According to the H!O Twitter feed.

H!P Summer '09 concert at Nakano Sun Plaza July 19.

Bad idea. Minimoni was nice but i think he's over doing it. Leave Tanpopo to the good voices and leave it as a pretty memory

 

H!P still has plenty of good vocalists though.

...zomg if my dream unit (Junjun, Ai, Eri) actually came true I'd die *_*

 

Don't think I'll spend my time complaining about these revival groups.

Now I just hope... really hope that Junjun will be a part of one of them.

Anyway, my vote, if they're going to keep it as a trio like their original one (though the quartet was the most popular version of it...), my vote would be Ai, Junjun, and Eri (like Ali), or Ai, Junjun, and Risa (though she was in the group before. Ai, Airi, and Miyabi wouldn't be bad either... assuming that they are pulling from other groups other than Morning Musume. I have a feeling though it's going to be a MM or H!P Kid + 2 or 3 eggs, which I guess is fair because the Eggs really haven't done anything. If we have an egg, I want Kikkawa Yuu and Ogawa Saki! They'll pull off the mature-ish style

 

^ ...zomg, speaking of Miyabi, I just rememberd the unit that she, Miki and Megumi were in. Megumi would've been perfect for Tanpopo! Sigh, stupid UFA - -;;

 

If they bring Kaori, Aya and Mari back, welcome.

I'm even back home from Japan on that date.
I kinda hoped we would get some news along the way, within the next two weeks.

 

Don't concert DVDs come out in late september anyway?

 

I wonder if these unit will be famous.
Because.... well... everyone (fans) have an image of Tanpopo or PucchiMoni. So it will be hard to change it... maybe.... ^o)

I hope he will add H!P Kids girls :3

 

^Actually, Tanpopo and Pucchimoni didn't really develop much of an image. Tanpopo's image changed for every new generation (they started out as the classy sexy group, then became a bit cuter but still mature and ended up rapping about toys), while Pucchimoni only released 4 singles and one best of album before they went on hiatus.

I'm excited to see what happens with these groups, especially since it's obvious why they're bringing back Minimoni, but i'm still a little unsure about what's going to happen with all three of the subgroups jumping back on the bandwagon so suddenly.

 

Totally! Hello Project reports that the new lines up for this is Kamei Eri, Mitsui Aika, Kumai Yurina, and Okai Chisato.

SOOO happy about Chisato on this one. It feels a little mismatched (but from the Tsunku panel, it seems he loves that), but I'm kind of excited how things will turn out on this one.

 

... Don't have anything personal against Mitsui or Kumai, but I wanted someone else than them, since they're already in Guardians 4.
But it'll wait and see until the line-up is fully confirmed.

 

Kame and Chisa in a unit together is enough to make me happy.
Jurina is cool, and don't really have anything against Mitsui.

So overall Tanpopo is among the better revival units in my opinion.

 

Tanpopo is performing a new song for the 2009 summer tour xD It's called "Umbrella" and from reports I've heard it's got a similar feel to Otome Pasta ni Kandou. As long as it's not similar to koi no yajirobee xD

 

I haven't listened to their song, yet but I quite like the line-up. Yay for Eri & Aika

 

just listened to the concert rip on youtube. sounds like something the 2nd gen tanpopo would have released. Cute stuff nonetheless. the other new songs by Aa! and pucchimoniV are great as well.
