I'm so glad they're performing a less performed stage

I didn't think they would perform A4 though, because of A Waiting. But still...Darui Kanji

I'm thinking that Tadiaima Renaichuu came very close to being fan chosen as an SKE stage (and didn't two teams pick it as one of their options?), management took notice and thought it ought to be performed even thought it didn't quite win the SKE vote.

YAY A4 is one of my favourite stages :) Can't wait to watch Darui Kanji being performed and really excited to see who bears the glasses  sorry I have a megane fetish

Nobody wore the glasses. Yeah, I was disappointed too. Ryoka has them in the Team A version though

Decided to watch the shonichi on DMM, skipping through it.

-Ugh lipsynching, some people just use it so badly. *cough*Shuu*cough*
-Junai Crescendo was my favorite of the set, but Emichi carried it so hard. Muro looks good but her singing is suspect. She got hella pop though.
-I really wanted to like Faint. It has Uuka and it has Anchu. But it's missing something.
    -I'm liking Mako's new style.
-Keibetsu's ending always scares the crap out of me.
    -OMG YUURI IS SO ADORABLE
-Did Uuka pick up some height? I think she's growing up to be really pretty.
-Something about Konomin makes me laugh. She looks so spacy.

I know what you mean about "Faint". I love that song, and I like Uuka a lot, but it was just off somehow. (I feel like maybe Konomi was the wrong choice for the song, but that doesn't account for everything)

I don't know much about stages, so I watched the original A4 on Youtube to compare.

Faint just seems so made for Itano, and I was not impressed by the vocals on Uuka, I found Anchu serviceable but forgettable, and I don't even remember Konomin at all.

The other thing I remember is the lighting being terrible. Like the lighting guy was like "LET'S FIRE ALL THE BLINKY LIGHTS!"

But I really think Uuka's going places.

EDIT: I think it is the lack of Itano's voice. She adds this extra range that makes the song seem cooler when performed to.

BII will perform January 4th at the new Yoshimoto Makuhari Aeon Mall in Chiba! 2014 is starting off well for them!

It was an interesting performance at the Aeon Mall, mostly because there was a lot of live voicing and you can see they're not very experienced there... often running out of breath at the end of the song. :D

My Faint honeyz nailed it though. So good. :inlove:

You know, I complained about BII's version of "Faint" when I watched the first performance of this stage. It was really disappointing, but I watched a recent LOD today, and it's gotten SO much better. Dancing is much sharper, much better facial expressions, and much sexier overall. Way to go girls!

And hey, they added the glasses into Darui Kanji! (kanako wore them)

She's wearing glasses during Darui Kanji since her Seitansai stage (131120) [party]

I still hope for the day when the entire team wears glasses during that song like team A did several times now. So cool.

Recently Konomin centered it on her Seitansai stage (along with Yamarina, Yuumin)

Really great stage [clap] high spirited and most importantly they sang everything live (right?)

Btw I uploaded it to DM a while ago.

I accidentally put the Kamonegix performance of the stage on vimeo tho :fp:

    Hmmm...

I've been watching a ton of BII performances, though I usually just skip to the MCs.
Yesterday I was watching one, and I noticed that the introduction order was wrong for the last line. Why is Rippi there?

Then I remembered that Mako graduated.

On the other hand, it's nice that they got Rippi for Mako's unit, and she gets to work on her MC ability with Sakipi and Honorin. I find her really entertaining because she's a real life tsundere who always makes fun of people but then gets mega shy when she talks about herself.

    3/4 show
There were 4 absences today (Shuu, Uuka with senbatsu work, Honori on a class trip, Murokana in Macau) and 6 unders (Yuumin, Jo, Aririn, Natsu, Yamarina, Rachel).

Rinacchi slid over to Shuu's position and centered pretty much all songs as well as 7:12 no Hatsukoi. Natsu, as always when she unders, took over Yuuri's position in Haru ga Kuru Made while Yuuri slid over to Rinacchi's position. Jo under-ed Murokana in Junai Crescendo, Konomi moved over to center of Faint and Anchu moved from Faint to Kikyou to replace Honori (which makes waaaaaaaaay more sense since Kikyou -> Go back home but Honori is from Osaka but Anchu is from Chiba).

I'm not particularly picky when it comes to performances so I thought the show was great. They do MVP surveys after every B2 show and, to be quite honest, I would have given the vote to Konomi if I weren't biased (I am). Her Faint was really good and she has real "kire" to her dance. She also had some hilarious MC bits that was really adorable.

Junai Crescendo, I think, was the only song sung live and I liked how it sounded. Jo looks like she's really enjoying herself now and she's lost a ton of weight since she came back. She'll be back to the Jo of old in no time I'm sure.

There's not very much point to pick over every song since pretty much everyone knows all about them anyways so I'll just say that overall I liked it alot. It was really touching to hear the fans in the theater chanting "B2" instead of the usual encore though.

Konomin's been stepping it up the last few weeks, IMO. Her MCs have been relatively strong and her personality is so... enigmatic, since she has sleepy eyes and seems tired all the time but she has a high tension tennen and she is a very solid performer.

For whatever reason, Konomin/Yuumin/Yamarina sounds really good vocally as they performed on Konomin's BD. I still much prefer Uuka center, since there's something about her that is more captivating, even if I think Konomin is equally skilled.

The 3/9 show, for being a Ladies-only show, had great atmosphere. Rinacchi, Yuuri and Anchu were really popular with the women fans for some reason. :D

This show also had Apon come in and help out. She center-ed Faint and, as always, was pretty good. I loved how in Darui Kanji, the fans called "Megane megane murokana megane."

Can't wait to watch this one.

For the MVP survey, Emichi came in #1 and Konomin was #2.

That is really interesting and wholly unexpected. From Yuuri's G+ I gathered that she usually trailed only Shuuka in MVP, though I'm sure the female-only audience may have something to do with it.

I swear, Konomin is not very far from breaking out, I feel like she's really close and she just needs that one lucky moment.
