    Stage48 2013 Sousenkyo Exit Poll

    It's always been a tradition each year for us to count how many votes Stage48 as a whole community gave, and how many votes each girl received from Stage48. You can see last year's results here: viewtopic.php?p=568303#p568303. This year, more than ever, there's going to be more votes floating around from the international community thanks to votes being available through the theater editions for the first time and thus at a much cheaper price.

    Because of that, I decided to make this year's Voting Booth/Exit Poll more fun. Instead of simply having people write how many times they voted for a girl, and me gathering the results, we're going to handle this somewhat similarly to the actual sousenkyo. Once voting starts, you can PM me your votes and I will add them to my Excel spreadsheet. I will reveal the results 2 times, one time at the midway point, and one time at the end, but BEFORE the actual results come out.

    The reason I can't follow the sousenkyo model exactly is because since the majority of us are international, we're not going to be able to get our CDs on Day 1 like the many Japanese fans. Instead, the midway point of the voting seems like a good idea, as a good amount of us will have gotten our CDs by then. And then of course, at the end, just when we're all the most hyped up for the actual sousenkyo.

    Now, rules. READ THEM!

    Rules/Directions

    Results Revealing

    Stage48 Midpoint Results: Votes received from May 21st, 10 am JST - May 29th, 11:59 PM JST, Results on May 30th
    Stage48 Final Results: All votes received by June 8th, 12 am JST, Results on same day, hours before actual results

    That gives you all an extra 9 hours from when the voting is due in Japan to let me know who you voted for.

    Please ask any questions you have here, and let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is, compared to the 2012 Stage48 Member Ranking! And make sure to have fun with our own mini 2013 sousenkyo [party]

    Total Votes: 2141 votes

    Notes:
    - One member's votes could not be verified in time for the release of these results. This was an extremely large amount towards one girl, so these final results would not change, except for shifting most senbatsu down one spot.
    - konami's votes were the result of a collaboration between several people in a group buy effort to add 102 votes to Takamina, in addition to his own 16. Therefore, Takamina's "voter" count should actually be more than 19 voters. However, I have no way of splitting the 102 votes between those people, so I just stuck them all under konami's name.

    Members are color coded by the colors of their official logos. AKB48 is pink, SKE48 is orange/yellow, and HKT48 is black. We don't have a leopard print font for NMB48, and using another orange would look too similar to SKE48, so they became blue. Graduates are green.

    Re: The 2013 Sousenkyo Stage48 Voting Booth and Exit Poll

    Random fact, so I can get the discussion rolling and stop talking to myself. I feel lonely in here :cry:

    In Japan, it's currently 8:45 pm on May 28th, meaning you have around 1 day, 3 hours and 15 min left to get your votes in for the Stage48 Midpoint Results. And I'm sure some of you are still waiting on extra votes, or waiting to see how the midpoint results look like before voting more too.

    But anyways, even with time left to go, as of now, we already have 758 votes! [party] We haven't even reached the halfway point yet and we already have more total votes than last year, which was 635 total over the whole voting period. A 123 vote increase with more than half the time to go :inlove:

    Everyone is really on fire this year. A pat on the back for the Stage48 community. [hi5] I can't wait to see how much we'll have at the end. I'm still adding the votes I received most recently, so even that 758 number will increase in a few minutes. :banana:

    Now you aren't alone :D

    Woohoo~ First other person to post here [party]
    I have no idea what to say :/
    Ah well, I guess I'll just wait for the discussion after the midpoint results to come out then.
    I'm thinking if Sasshi wins the first place for this results as well :^^;:, we'll be seeing some rage comments...

    I was waiting for someone else to start talking XD
    I still have 11 more votes in the post. I'm really curious to see who the Stage48 family votes for in comparison to population (and also how many votes in total we get).

    ^Sasshi getting first here would... make for an interesting forum ;p

    @ithebigc: Thanks for doing this! Don't feel lonely!

    I'm still waiting for some votes too. But there is a real chance that the 3 CDs I pre-ordered won't get to me on time for the vote, because our customs office is that slow.

    On another note, I'm glad the results for this poll will be posted in this same thread, because it took me a long time to find the results for the 2012 poll. :D

    @ithebigc

    I want to send another PM with additional votes, but I'm in Japan and worried that they won't count because I'm not overseas. Should I use a proxy to ensure my PM gets counted.

    :lol:

    Re: The 2013 Sousenkyo Stage48 Voting Booth and Exit Poll

    I don't want to spoil the midpoint results being released tomorrow, but for now, all I'll say in response is :rofl: . Interpret that how you will ;)

    You're welcome!

    And I wouldn't lose hope yet. I've had quite a bit of experience shipping to Brazil (because I sell a lot of video games to there :D ) and games shipped take maybe 2-3 weeks to arrive, closer to 2. If you preordered the CDs and used EMS or better, you still have 1 1/2 weeks left to get them and they've already been shipping for a week. I pray you get them in time!

    As for the results of the 2012 Stage48 Member Ranking, I think the results were unpinned too quickly and then not many people knew it was moved to Forum Games (or even where the Forum Games subforum is - for reference, it's in the Stage48 Lobby. :hehe: ) I'm going to keep the results of this 2013 Sousenkyo Stage48 Exit Poll pinned as a global announcement longer.

    How come a lot of stage48 senpais (honey roasted peanuts, cristafari) haven't voted yet?

    @ithebigc:
    Will you just be showing the top 64 spots or will you show us the entire list down to the girls who got only 1 vote?

    They probably already voted. They just haven't posted their votes on here, yet.

    I guess that's the HRP effect. He did send close to 1000 votes to people in this forum.

    Re: The 2013 Sousenkyo Stage48 Voting Booth and Exit Poll

    I'll probably give the entire list, as long as that member has at least one vote. I feel that every vote is important, so I want to give credit to any vote that was submitted by anyone from Stage48, even if it'll mean more work for me. Also, there's like whole segments of girls without votes, so I don't even know if we have that much anyways. Keep in mind, even with 881 votes (so far, still need to count most recent ones), there's a whole bunch of members with only 1 or 2 votes. We don't have enough votes to differentiate them, so a lot of members will share the same rank at the bottom.

    As for why some people haven't voted yet, there's a whole myriad of reasons. People may not have gotten all their CDs yet, they're still getting more votes and want to vote at once, they just haven't had time, they want to wait to see the midterm results from Stage48 just for fun, etc. I personally haven't voted yet either, because I'm still not sure how many votes I'll have at the end so I don't know how to split my votes between the girls I want to support. We do still have half the voting period to go, so there's no rush :approve:

    I give an apology for skewing the votes too much. I have an 11% share in the total votes.

    @ithebigc
    I'm really excited for the results already.. xD
    I think it is more economical to post the rankings 1 to 64 then the remaining girls the day after so you would have time to work. xD

    I've not voted (how do I choose between rena, jurina, takamina, oshima yuko AND kojiharu?! Can't afford all so I vote for none TT___TT)
    BUT I am interested to see how the voting pans out! I was surprised to see Oshima Yuko so low on last year's results, but delighted to see takamina so high <3
    Question is: Will Sasshi's no.1 in the official preliminary be reflected here?! [hehe]

    i personally only voted for Rena (6 times) as of right now, i still did not receive my cds yet, so yeah i have many votes left so i want to save them first and then after i see the midpoint result i will decide who to vote and how many or something similar :inlove:

    I don't think there's any way Sasshi is getting first here lol. My guess would be Umechan, Takamina, Mayu, Milky, Rena or Tomochin. Haruppi for HKT dark horse :D But that's just from the comments I've seen people post, so it's probably not very accurate.

    Wait... you took that serious?

    We'll need to see some proof of that before including it in this thread.
