Ah I see. I was just curious if staff had been selling cheaper votes again like last year, I think that was part of why we had so many votes last year.
Thanks to @YKT for reminding me to the exit polls, I didn't notice it at all as I always open threads I followed only... I'll PM to the person in-charge later to include my votes. This is my post from Watanabe Mayu's thread:
I agree with the lack of visibility, but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that. Xenforo, the forum software we're on now, has no option for me to make a Global Announcement that appears at the top of each forum like I used to do with phpbb3. Instead, I rely on all of you for word of mouth, so if you know people that haven't yet told me how they voted, tell them to send it to me before 9 pm JST tomorrow! Yeah, I couldn't get all the Mayuyu votes people bought from me entered in time for these "1 Week to Go" results so I couldn't count them for the results so far. She'll make a comeback for the final results, although I'm not sure if she'll keep her #1 position from last year because some of you are sending in ridiculous amounts of votes (with proof too). Same as the "1 Week to Go" Results, I haven't had time to update the OP with the names of everyone that sent me their votes, but I have been counting the votes sent since the "1 Week to Go" Results were released.
Couldn't you just make a sticky thread on each of the main boards with a link in it that redirects here? Then afterwards delete said stickies? You'd only have to make like 4 or 5, and could just copy paste the contents.
Why not send all members a notification or pm (I'm assuming that's possible) to remind them of this forum event?
We have the project and event forums just because of that: so we don't need to sticky threads or turn them into announcements, eventually ending up with countless threads on top of the forum. It's more orderly this way. I've sent an alert to everyone. That should suffice.
Sure I guess, but it seems kind of clear that there was some lacking visibility considering the number of people that haven't yet noticed or took a while to notice this event. Sort of too late now I guess though anyway.
That lovely day when Myao gets more votes than Mako...too bad that won't happen in the real elections!
Oh, I'm so upset I bought 7 voting tickets but I wasn't able to vote in time. At least I will receive my money back, but I really wanted to participate. I sent my "would be" votes to ithebigc, I hope is still valid.
HKT takes up 4/10 of the top 10, nice. Takamina rules supreme, double nice. Thanks for the hard work and for organizing this poll, @ithebigc!
