In a perfect idol world if only Yuki and Miyuki ranks in 3rd and 4th places, that would be brilliant. For me. ;) Top four consisting of them with Mayu and Naachan :^O^:

Naachan!!!! Omg omg cant believe she got first place! I have always been her fan since the start and seeing how well received she is by this stage and also japanese fans really made me proud of her. Really hope this sousenkyo will bring her to senbatsu!!

Mayu as first was a shocker too. If only she is the ace of AKB. But then I would not have like her as i like her now. She also has a very little - votes as compared to last year.

Milkyyyyy. Just love her in everything. I really like her face. Shallow but the truth hehe. A bit sad to see her graduating but oh well thats idol for you....

YUKIRIN. Negative votes higher than last year. Might be due to her kennin thing. Ugh. Its not like she demands that position more like AKS tied her to do things so that she is forced to stay. Whatever. I shall remain entranced by her beauty, charms, kindness, everything. Yukirin is the ultimate idol for me. Been a fan of her even when Im not a fan of AKB. Still remain my oshi even after 4 years. When I love something/one I rarely let go. As what did happen to my Yamapi love. Off topic. But yeah both Y are my ultimate idol.

    That Paru votes....

I am extremely happy with the results. My number #1 and my #2 tied for first!!! :):1st::1st::)
And to think, if I hadn't voted for either of them as much as I did, one of them wouldn't be in first place. A very gratifying feeling.

So happy for Mayuyu, a few people have expressed surprise. I wonder if it's since Mayu is kind of a quiet person, she tends to attract quieter fans. I'm a Mayu-oshi, but other than my most recent concert report, I haven't made a habit of vocalizing my love for her on this forum.

    Here's how I voted:
    01. Watanabe Mayu (+15) #1
    02. Okada Nana (+10) #1
    03. Kashiwagi Yuki (+9) #7
    04. Yamamoto Sayaka (+8) #3
    05. Watanabe Miyuki (+7) #8
    06. Takahashi Minami (+6) #4
    07. Kitahara Rie (+5) #21
    08. Matsui Jurina (+5) #13
    09. Miyazawa Sae (+4) #14
    10. Minegishi Minami (+4) #18
    11. Shimazaki Haruka (+4) #5
    12. Kuramochi Asuka (+3) #59
    13. Kodama Haruka (+3) #10
    14. Miyawaki Sakura (+3) #9
    15. Furuhata Nao (+2) #49
    16. Jonishi Kei (+2) #75
    17. Kojima Mako (+2) #20
    18. Uchiyama Natsuki (+1) #145
    19. Uchida Mayumi (+1) #221
    20. Kobayashi Marina (+1) #285

    Negative Votes:
    01. Sashihara Rino (-5) #28

At first it looked like everything was going to go in order, my #20 was revealed first, then my #19 the next day, then my #18 the day after that, but the day after that everything else fell apart.

I'm surprised to realize I didn't vote for Haruna Kojima. She should be my number 6, but apparently I overlooked her and didn't type her name in. :fp:

@gocchisama Are your big mysteries really that mysterious? Maybe I'm full of it, but it seems like they have logical explanations:
As for Haruna Kojima still being here: What would be the point of her graduating? Graduation is, essentially, a career move. At some point, the girls want to try doing something else and being part of AKB hinders that. For example, for the girls who want to be actresses, they need to be available to do acting gigs, and they want to be known as actresses in their own right and not "the girl from AKB is in a movie". Or in cases like Nakky, they decided to focus on a non-entertainment job and need to leave the singing and dancing behind. So what's NyanNyan's other profession? Modeling. You can easily be a model and do AKB, they're very compatible. And, the AKB name seems to help you on a magazine cover, where on a movie poster, it apparently can be a hindrance. Also, Kojiharu doesn't seem like the most ambitious of people out there, I'd bet she's happy to coast and get the easy money appearing and performing at arranged events. She's still young enough and hot enough to be in the group, her fans are still here. So why would she leave?

As far as Izurina goes, I too, used to be curious about why she was in the group. She is after all, rather homely looking. But then I saw her in a Team B stage. There's something in the way she moves. She has a cuteness about her motions, her mannerisms, her voice. She was a pleasant surprise and was a good part of the stage. She also is a delightful handshake. I can see how her potential would come through in an audition, and how a judge might be impressed.

About the new stages. Well, we did finally get one this year, didn't we? Frankly, I'm surprised we got that. New stages are expensive to produce, and they aren't making that much money for the group. The theaters are always full, regardless of the old stages. It makes business sense to focus your resources elsewhere.

@tomosama I think Yukirin's negative votes are due to the fact that she had a minor scandal last year. I didn't get upset about it, but a lot in the fandom did. I don't think it's because of the kennin. She was an NMB kennin in 2014.

And one last thing, even though Sakura's sousenkyo speech was bad, I think she still deserves a pass:
How many of you are good public speakers? If you are, were you in high school? She was only 17. Plus, the senbatsu is a highly emotional time. Imagine that all of your clients/customers at your job had a vote about who they liked the most or who they thought was doing the best job. That would be extremely nerve wracking. I might say something regrettable if I were in a situation like that. It would be a shame if people hated me for months/years because of it.

But I guess that's the world we live in.

FIRST OF ALL CONGRATULATIONS TO MAYUYU NAACHAN AND SAYANEE :cute::cute::cute: I only expected Sayanee to be in the top 3 with Paruru and Yuihan but Mayuyu and Naachan surprised me!
Miyawaki Sakura already expected her to be in the lower 10 cause Im certain her negative votes would skyrocket from last year :D She is indeed one of the beautiful idols and also the currently most pushed ones alongside Jurina and Paruru. She has always been standing out in performances and thats one of the reasons why I adore her :cute:Plus she can be funny at times
Yamamoto Sayaka :3rd:I thought she had enough votes to rank 1st with all the hypes around her (365, crazy handshake results, good position in AKB, more solo works) but she ranked 3rd :( (Well she was only separated by 1 single vote!!) She has the face, the voice, the character. She resembles Oshima Yuko in my eyes. I hope she can have this rank in SSK as well
Watanabe Miyuki glad that she didnt drop that much! She is cute and her smile is so soothing lol. Its sad that shes going to graduate soon since I already predicted her to enter Kami8 this year :(
Shimazaki Haruka positive votes alone she could easily rank 1st [hehe] the more negative votes she received, the more attention she attracts thus she is actually more popular lol. Shes pretty and smh I like her voice??
    Watanabe Mayu Omedetou!!! :1st:
Kashiwagi Yuki Did expect her to drop with the scandal last year but still a good position if you campare her with Sasshi :^^;:
Okada Nana OMEDETOU!!!:1st:IDK why I ranked her below Mion but meh the votes are still the same lol. She has the face to become an AKB Ace, she can sing and I like her character! Now that she has cut her hair short, Im so looking forward to her first performance of TwI as part of media senbatsu! :D:D
The result is satisfying for me since it was my first time participating (Last year I think I didnt meet the post requirement?). Haruppi is so close to Sakura now :XD:

I am absolutely stunned and elated that Naachan managed to get #1. This is my first year able to contribute to this ranking (this time last year I was still account-less and lurking, lol). But I'm not surprised Naachan has managed to get people's attention, even if they don't oshi her. I was a Yukirin oshi when I first joined the fandom, but then I was trying to learn the names of all the members I didn't know, and I stumbled upon a Naachan performance and just was so blown away by her energy. For the next few months, I felt Naachan battling Yukirin for the top title until she took it, and with everything she does, she stays up there. She's powerful and hard-working and delivers onstage, and watching her change up her character over the past few months especially has been great. It's like watching her develop confidence and become really free in front of the cameras and on the stage.

And here's the rest of my list:
    2. Kashiwagi Yuki (+10) [#6]
    3. Tashima Meru (+9) [#24]

Yeah, the not full AKB thing is definitely out of her hand, I agree. Management has to go do their thing in such a roundabout way. And I'm not being sarcastic.

I kinda agree though that I wouldn't mind as much if Sayanee or Jurina said such speed? But that's just because they are my favs. You see, I did have Sakura on my casual likes list, but she fell after saying that speech. Let's assume that I give Jurina or Sayanee 9 like points and Sakura 6, if the damage would be -2, Sayanee or Jurina would only get 7 like points for me, while Sakura 4. And why am I saying this? I don't know. I just want to avoid leading the argument to, "I'm being super reasonable while you totally aren't" from my side because I don't trust I can express my thoughts well.
But strange though... I would the damage would probably -3 if Haruppi said it. But Hiwatan would go through the roof. But if other sister group members said it in the same fashion, let's say, Miru, Riripon, Uha, Rara, Katomina, Meru or others, they would probably also get -2 from me.

And I should probably not have said effort. I meant I refuse to try understanding the between the lines of her speech.

But really though, the -3 I gave her in this ranking is equivalent to -2 if it was out of 10 in my ranking. I'm not as riled up to go around hating whatever she does. I just dislike her "destroy AKB" SSK speech, and oh her worry about her first-center single going to be a flop because of Takamina's scandal as shown on the 2014 dokkiri skit (that would be -1, if I bother giving her such, but by now, perhaps only -0.35?) as well as her non-athletic antics- oh wait, it's funny, so I don't mind (0). And I do think that Sakura does do a very good job in attracting attention and being an idol, which explains her high rank and success.

OMG... Theres NO MALICE here!! Geez- the girl is in the Heart of AKB right now (and then) right??... Clearly the AKB48 members didn't take this speech the way Some "Western" NON-Japanese people did.

Proof- this Speech was like an "Add-On" to the Sentiments Haruppi expressed a year earlier...remember? when Haruppi said "I'm coming to get you 1st Gens! I'm coming to Smash you (PARAPHRASING!- Something to that effect)- Why did she even say it?? What Inspired her?? It's 1st Gen Mariko Shinoda who said (Paraphrasing!) "You Next Gens need to be Hungry! You Need to want & Come and get us! We need your spirit & Drive!"... To which - to which Haruppi replied 'Tearfully' I might add "I'm coming to Get You Mariko!" (Paraphrase) - remember that?? It was even quoted in various news stories.

Sakura's speech is just a variation & continued vow of determination to Move AKB48 Forward - from the Past to the Future! She wants to Inspire her fellow "Next Gens" in a "Hey, If Haruppi & I can get "Top 20"- YOU can too! - she's showing she has a Fire in her Gut and since she's the "Figure head" (by Media Proxy) of the New Girls ("next gens") she's talking about "Transformation" & out w/ the Old and in w/ the NEW...I'm going help AKB shed it's "old Skin" & become "Fresh & new"...like 'Spring' itself after a Winter slumber. Other thoughts...
Why is it OK for Haruppi to say "I'm coming to Get you!" & not "I want to destroy the old AKB"? She said "AKB" - not "HKT is better!"- she knows w/out AKB, there never would be an HKT. Sasshihara would yanked her off that stage herself like an Angry Mom if she disrespected AKB on national TV. If you were ever worried about "Respect"- I think Sakura cares more than you realize. She has A LOT to represent. She needs to appear "Pumped & Ready" for the Future.

    - Paruru received more voting points than anyone else, both positive and negative (and she still didn't hit her all time high negatives votes). That's a win for me both ways. People are still paying attention to her. Strangely out of everyone in my ranking, I feel the need to say the least about her because it's clear that she's on everyone's minds already. Why anyone downvoted her doesn't matter to me (tho I'm sure a few chuckleheads will have to chime in about why they think she deserved it). The positive votes speak more volumes than anything anyone else can say. 5th is not a bad ranking, and 3rd most voters too.

    02. Kodama Haruka (+10)
    - Top 10! Oh, please, wouldn't it be great if this were real! When I think about Haruppi, one of the things I love the most about her is the earnest sincerity in how she presents herself. I haven't seen a bad bone in her whole body. She's genuinely sweet, and she makes me smile just from the sound of her voice. She's come a long way and it's been a privilege to watch her mature and develop her skills. Lately there's been a lot of complaint that now that Jurina and Sayanee are out of Team K, she's going to get the attention instead, but I think Haruppi is a great example of how a kennin should work. When she was first put in Team A, she was much younger, and she started forming bonds with people like Yuihan and Kitarie, profiting from their leadership skills. When she was moved to Team K, she already seemed to have developed greater confidence, and once in Team K, her performance skills actually rose noticeably. The additional experience she got in AKB has visibly helped her and I think she is a better center in HKT because of it. Jurina and Sayanee...well, it can't be their fault that they've already reached a point where they don't really gain much in personal development from kennin positions. But Haruppi's kennin has payed off in spades. Where she previously lacked confidence, she is much stronger, and when I see her interact with her juniors now, she seems much more at ease and able to communicate with them effectively.

    - I will miss Milky incredibly. I find her performance level to be higher than anyone else in NMB, both in skill and in presentation. Her dancing is so underrated, it's a pity, and she always knows exactly when to look at the camera and send a brilliant smile to blow you away. NMB has treated her like absolute garbage in the last year, so I'm not surprised she's graduating. She deserves way more than what she has been given lately. I think she will be happier now, and I'm glad for her. Though I had so wanted to see her in Team B again (another example of a good kennin, Milky really brought something unique to that team), nothing will bring back Umeda Team B.

    - NANAAAAAAA. When I saw she made the top 10, I honestly thought right away it had to be at least top 3. It was easy to see the winds of change around here. People are talking about her often and in good ways. It was a real wrench for me putting her at my #5 ranking - since Okappa, Komiharu, and Nana technically all occupy my #3 spot, determining what order to place them was the hardest part of putting together my ranking. If I had put her even one spot higher, she would have been the undisputed champion... ahhh... I am sorry, Nana. But even so! First place is still FIRST PLACE. I've been following Naachan since, hmmm, a little before the three musketeers/TTMC got their big push. It was really great when she started getting so much attention. I highly recommend her performance in Kuroi Tenshi from the Group KKS concert in 2013. It was years ago and she was so. good. even then. How frustrating it must have been, the road between then and now, when she's in her first top 16/media senbatsu, to be told over and over again "it's not your time yet" when she was overly ready for big leagues. And then to be surpassed by juniors who (in the kindest way possible) don't even come close to her skill and popularity... If this isn't Naachan's year, then I will have absolutely zero qualms about becoming a full time NGT fan with AKB on the side, keeping up with only my favorites. It's time. It's past time.

So happy for Naachan! Naachan is one of the best performers in AKB48 atm. She really shines during Team 4 stages and the special stages. Those eyes...
A bit sad for Takaminas drop but at least the number of negative votes only went up by 3.
