I glad Okada Nana is getting so much recognition around here. It is also interesting That Nakamoto Himeka and Kawamura Mahiro are tied for the same spot. I remember hearing them in a singing contest on Nogibingo. They were the best ones there. It's nice to see Kojiharu still ranking pretty high.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this. I don't mean to offend anyone, but at times she can come off as haraguro. I might be wrong, and she's amazing most of the time, but she just doesn't seem like the nicest idol. (On the other hand, she is definitely amazing at expressing her gratitude to her fans, something that even as a non-fan I appreciate)

I think you misread my post completely. I was talking about the posters on the past couple pages who said they will believe what they want to believe and can't be bothered to find out the actual translation of what was said. Imo that is a wrong reason to dislike a member and kind of ignorant.

If someone dislikes your oshi because of half-assed translation totally misrepresenting what they actually said, you'd probably take offense a little too. Even if they understood what she said completely, and still disliked her for it, that would be totally fine. And your reasons pretty much all seem like valid reasons to dislike a member.

I'm a big fan of the negative points system, I would never be upset that my oshi gets dislikes for normal reasons like you posted. If I was upset at that, then I'd be a hypocrite, because I gave negative points for very similar reasons to members I dislike. Maybe you can go read my post again, it's definitely not meant to be like how you took it.

2015, the year I became an NMB hako-oshi...

    01. Yokoyama Yui (+15)
    6. (3) [75|4] Yokoyama Yui {+445,-14}, 431
Disappointed by the drop, but I was kind of expecting it when I saw that many Yui thread regulars didn't vote... But strangely, her average points per vote actually increased a bit (5.93 this year, 5.65 last year). I also expected the increase in negative votes (4 this year, 1 last year) after serving as next-in-line GM for most of the year. My main concern for Yui ever since she was named as Takamina's successor was the pressure from fans and others to live up to Takamina's legacy. It took her all of last year and the early part of this year, but I think she is finally accepting that she can do things her own way.

On a personal note for Yui, she became the travel ambassador for the Yamashiro region in Kyoto Prefecture, performed in the Majisuka stage performance, and appeared in several AKB-related dramas and movies. She also released her first solo photobook and DVD/Blu-ray. These were all nice accomplishments and things she wanted to try, and combined with the publicity from being jikisou, she seems to be experiencing a slight bump in exposure. I hope she can sustain it through this year and have her progress reflected in SSK as well.

    02. Kawaei Rina (+10)

    31. (9) [32|1] Kawaei Rina {+163,-3}, 160
YokoEi~ So sad to see her AKB career cut short by the incident, but she seems to be doing quite well as an actress now. I was so happy to see her come back for the 10th anniversary stage and that one time on Music Station. Too bad she dropped pretty far in this ranking; looks like people have started to forget about her... I have to admit I don't follow her very closely now, either.

    03. Yamada Nana (+9)

    48. (22) [18|0] Yamada Nana {+110,0}, 110
Where my NMB obsession started, thanks to my friend who was a Nana oshi. I love her voice, her reactions on variety shows, and how everyone makes fun of her. The whole set of graduation songs that NMB gave her was really nice. I also have to thank her for introducing me to Reinyan and also entrusting the Team M captaincy to her. Their friendship is one of the cutest with their banter on Twitter.

    04. Fujie Reina (+8)

    100. (87) [14|0] Fujie Reina {+52,0}, 52
I joined the fandom around the time of the 2014 shuffle, so I've only ever followed NMB Reinyan. Of course, I've gone back and watched some old stuff from her AKB days, but If I didn't know any better, I would think she was just another NMB 1st gen or even 2nd gen. Even after 9 years in 48G, she still has incredible energy, dedication, and freshness. I find it amazing that she has continued her 22ji no Yome photo series for 5 years, and that she has held steady around the same SSK rank for even longer. She has fit in so well with NMB and has totally embraced her role as Team M captain. And this is technically 2016, but I had a nice handshake experience with her in January too.

    05. Shibuya Nagisa (+7)

    42. (35) [29|0] Shibuya Nagisa {+123,0}, 123
I can't help smiling when I see her smile. I always enjoy her airheadedness on Manabu-kun or in her Twitter weather forecast videos. But despite that, she's a really good performer on stage. Also, NagiShuu. (I sense a pattern in my top 6 votes...)

    06. Yabushita Shu (+6)

    83. (76) [16|0] Yabushita Shu {+64,0}, 64
#1 in my list of members I would like to have as a little sister. Her ksgk outbursts on variety shows are always entertaining. She was also the best handshake experience I had in January because she was so energetic (again, 2016, but eh). On the other hand, she is actually quite mature and thinks a lot about the future of NMB, and is talented in some unexpected ways, like playing piano.

    07. Yoshida Akari (+5)

    77. (57) [14|0] Yoshida Akari {+69,0}, 69
I got interested in Akarin at first because she's incredibly pretty, of course. Then I discovered that she's quite thoughtful, hardworking, and talented, too. She had that minor scandal as some people have mentioned, but that was soon swept under the rug when she started taking over the Twitterverse with her Joshiryoku videos. And now (again, 2016) she even has her own YouTube channel! I always look forward to her episodes of Teppen Radio, too. She seems like an aloof senpai, but she cares quite a bit about the younger members and gives them advice from time to time. She has also spoken about her role in the future of NMB, and I look forward to watching her become an important leader in the group. Also thanks to @ithebigc for pointing out that Google+ post; that was a good read to understand where she has come from.

    08. Muto Tomu (+5)

    35. (54) [26|1] Muto Tomu {+148,-3}, 145
I'm really impressed by the members going to college while still in the group. I was even further impressed by Tomu when I saw how difficult that meteorology exam she's taking is. I'm glad I got to see her in New York last year. I wasn't around to follow her when she was back in Oshima Team K and touted as Yuko's successor, but I've heard enough to know that she's worked really hard to reach her current standing, so I was really happy for her to rank in Senbatsu last year. Here's hoping that she'll stay in this year too!

    09. Iwatate Saho (+4)

    62. (50) [17|0] Iwatate Saho {+88,0}, 88
Yahhoo~ I fell for her burikko character early on and haven't looked back. I also have to thank her for indirectly helping me meet @Nieru at the New York concert, since a bunch of Saho fans were posting in her thread last year about meeting up at the concert.

    10. Nagao Mariya (+4)

    85. (67) [15|0] Nagao Mariya {+63,0}, 63
The first 9th gen to graduate... I like most of the 9th gen members and how close they are. Mariyagi was always great to watch as a cool beauty in theater shows.

    11. Kadowaki Kanako (+4)

    174. (103) [3|0] Kadowaki Kanako {+25,0}, 25
Always entertaining on NMB shows. It was really cool to see an idol with a completely unexpected talent like fishing.

    12. Kotani Riho (+3)

    128. (112) [8|0] Kotani Riho {+40,0}, 40
Another NMB variety show favorite, for her surreal sense of humor. I got to see it firsthand at her handshake when she kept shouting English words at me...

    13. Matsui Rena (+3)

    14. (6) [46|2] Matsui Rena {+254,-9}, 245
SKE is pretty hit-or-miss for me, but Rena was a hit. I loved seeing her as a solo center in Maenomeri. I also love that she loves trains. It was always fun to see her geek out when she was invited to appear in train shows.

    14. Jonishi Kei (+3)

    75. (76) [16|0] Jonishi Kei {+72,0}, 72
A calming presence in NMB. With Sayanee busy much of the time, she's an important leader in NMB, and I look forward to seeing her grow into an even bigger role to prepare for the inevitable Sayanee graduation...

    15. Kato Yuuka (+2)

    116. (165) [10|0] Kato Yuuka {+45,0}, 45
I was really upset at first by the Must Be Now senbatsu announcement, but I soon grew to love the song. And thanks to it, I also discovered Uuka and Aika. I like her Uuka Douga where she "teaches" the dances. Looks like from this ranking that the exposure from Must Be Now has helped.

    16. Kawakami Rena (+2)

    165. (109) [8|0] Kawakami Rena {+27,0}, 27
Udo~n, tsurutsuru~, pika~n! I can't stand Lemon, but I love Udon for some reason. I think she plays her character really well by taking it to absurd lengths (like how she can turn into udon in front of her fans because they love her and won't eat her, but other people would eat her) and breaking character at the right times. She's also actually a really nice senpai too, as I discovered in her part in R25H. I really hope she gets into an NMB single senbatsu soon, since she's the only remaining 1st gen who hasn't been in one.

    17. Shiroma Miru (+2)

    30. (36) [32|0] Shiroma Miru {+166,0}, 166
I sometimes go back and forth between FuuMiru, but recently I've liked Mirurun more. She always participates in shows and goes outside of her comfort zone. She has gotten really good at singing lately, as well. I look forward to her as an NMB ace in the future.

    18. Yagura Fuuko (+1)

    57. (43) [23|0] Yagura Fuuko {+93,0}, 93
Fuuchan is adorable, but lately she has been falling behind Mirurun quite a bit. She was also one of my first NMB favorites, so I hope she can get back in the spotlight.

    19. Watanabe Miyuki (+1)

    8. (7) [73|2] Watanabe Miyuki {+364,-5}, 359
Amazing performer in both raw dancing skill and playing her fishing character. I also love listening to her voice on Teppen Radio (Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!). I'll miss her a lot after she graduates.

    20. Takayanagi Akane (+1)

    25. (26) [33|0] Takayanagi Akane {+183,0}, 183
Bird girl's crazy bird videos are fun to watch. I also like how she got so close to everyone in Team BII.

So I must have a lot of free time...i took all of the votes and placed them in order based on how many people voted for them and removed the negative votes (ie: Okada Nana was voted for positively by 90 people, so that is the number I used (not the +543)...just to have an idea of if only stage48 members voted and people were only allowed to vote once, how the SSK would look like...it was interesting to see who enters and who leaves the Senbatsu spots...if calculated that way Okada Nana wins first place:1st::banana:, followed by Sayane by 2 votes...3rd place Paruru with 9 votes less than Sayane...and senbatsu ends up being 19 members because there were 5 girls in #15 :yikes:

But people are allowed to vote more than once in this poll. So it's not 90 unique people who voted for Nana and 88 different unique people who voted for Sayaka. Your list is only of the number of times said person appeared on someone's list. In theory, one person could have voted for all the members you listed as one can vote for 20 girls.

Hey @ithebigc is it possible we can also get ranking from the data you collected where only our number 1 counts and only our number 1 negative gets counted both only counting as one point and one negative pointed. I'm just curious of the result.

I just noticed Paruru might have snatched first place too because she has the highest positive votes but she also had the highest negative votes which pushed her down. That -111 negative votes is too huge bruh. But congrats to Naachan & Mayuyu! :)

My positive votes are as follows:

    01. Takayanagi Akane (+15)
My SKE48 oshi, and overall kamioshi. I just enjoy all aspects of her work.

    02. Takayama Kazumi (+10)
My Nogizaka46 oshi. I enjoy her variety work on their shows but also where as some idols have a fixed, fake, smile, she really looks like she is enjoying herself during performances.

    03. Yamada Nana (+9)
My original NMB48 oshi. Just find her to be cute and love her voice. Was sad when she graduated last year.

    04. Anai Chihiro (+8)
My HKT48 oshi. Who doesn't like a ponkotsu

    05. Ishida Haruka (+7)
My AKB48 oshi. Again I am sad that she is graduating but wish her well in future.

    06. Kadowaki Kanako (+6)
When Yamada Nana graduated I decided to move my allegiance to Kanako ... and then within a year she graduated as well :(

    07. Goto Izumi (+5)
    08. Okada Kanna (+5)
Both Iichan and Okapon were members of HKT48 I liked a lot but both are now gone ... (I've not been having a good year)

    09. Noujo Ami (+4)
Probably my second favourite member of Nogizaka46 ... mostly for her variety work and just being such a lovable idiot.

    10. Watanabe Rika (+4)
My favourite member of Keyakizaka46 ... although she does need to be more confident when on camera as whilst it's cute at first it will likely cause her issues over time.

    11. Okita Ayaka (+4)
My current favourite NMB48 member ... although I'm not sure she is my oshi for that group at this time.

    12. Nagano Serika (+3)
    13. Yamada Noe (+3)
    14. Nagahama Neru (+3)
    15. Kizaki Yuria (+2)
    16. Iwasa Misaki (+2)
    17. Isohara Kyoka (+2)
    18. Sasaki Yukari (+1)
    19. Fujie Reina (+1)
    20. Nakamura Mariko (+1)
The remainder were just girls I quite like who I wanted to show some support for in the pole. I did consciously include members from Team8 and NGT48 here.

I think that Churi was my highest placed member ... whilst she only slightly improved on last year (one place?) it is still a good showing for her which I am happy with.

I did give negatives to three girls, and no I'm not going to say who but I will say that none of them ended up in the top 30. Two of them were just people I can't stand ... I don't enjoy their performances in any way and to be honest I'm not sure why they are idols even and them coming on makes me want to stop watching whatever or at least skip past them. The other person has been growing on me a bit lately but she still has the problem that at times she looks completely bored of what she is doing which is a big no-no for a idol for me.

As for the top 10 ... I have no issues with the results. Whilst no one I voted for made it into there I have no strong feels against those members, in fact I have been starting to consider Okada Nana to replace Ishida Haruka after she graduates (but it's early days for those thoughts at the moment).

Just to add to this, if people did have only one vote they'd probably vote for their kami oshi. Naachan won because many people gave her a couple points. If we wanted to find what @mcbcagirl was looking for, it'd be best to calculate what member had the highest average of points given per voter, rather than the amount of voters. iirc someone has already found that, and it was takamina..?

What mcbcagirl is looking for would be if only the #1 votes were counted. This assumes people would put their favorite girl as #1 without any attempts to game the voting system. I agree that in such a situation, Naachan would not win with the usual suspects at the top.

poor paruru got so many negative points. But her positive points is number one on the list so I have no right to complain
A bit surprised okada nana ranked number 2 though
mayuyu and sayanee both ranked at 1 and 3 aren't surprising as both are talented and loved by many people in this community
    Thanks for the ranking, admins....

i think i was misunderstood...i just took the amount of voters that voted positively for the list I created, I didn't mean if a person just voted for one member. and as far as I know, we can only vote once, meaning we turn in one list of 20 members we choose to vote for...so instead of saying x member receives 15 points whereas y member received 10, all 20 members get 1 point each, and i didn't count voters that negatively voted for that person...that's what i meant with voting once...technically we all voted 20 times since we had a list of 20...and if not mistaken, we aren't allowed to vote with multiple accounts, so then wouldn't that mean that naachan received a vote from 90 people? either that or i completely misunderstood that part of the list...
but i agree if what i would've looked for was who voted just for their kami oshi (or their number 1 spot) or the average of voter points the results would've been completely different...but I'm not that good in math so it would've become a mess for me...and i think it was calculated already...I was just curious to see if we could choose 20 members and each one received 1 point and there was no such thing as negative points, what the results could've looked like.

Congrats to Mayu and Naachan : D I had guessed tkmn, Naachan and prr for the top 3 and I only got Naachan right, though Paruru would have been there if it weren't for the 100 negs. Is that a new record?!

Wow, thank you so much for working so hard on this list! I'm really happy with where my oshiis ended up! I didn't have enough posts to vote this year, but I hope I can participate next year! Congrats to everyone who's oshiis ranked high! :)
