6 this round and 3 left for the top 10.

Oguri Yui - I think if yuiyui had been born earlier and joined at an earlier time she would have been one of the top akb members. She's an all-rounder as a 48-idol. And meeting her in person is a really great experience. She does deserve being one of the top HS sellers. Uses both hands, stands up and down, makes you feel really welcome.
Mukaichi Mion - good luck as the general manager. I've always liked mion.
    Happy Birthday kwangbae!

I think kanjo did a really great job this year (thank you) -- the timed schedule for the results was a really good idea.

    [25|13] [SKE] Matsui Jurina {+124,-57}, 67

    [2|17] [NGT] Yamada Noe {+7,-34}, -27

    This would be a rant.

Above are the 6 members, among whose votes are revealed, who received the highest down votes.

Five of them were involved, whether directly or not, alleged or proven, with the whole NGT scandal, ranging from being friends with shady rich fans, bullying, to being indifferent about the incident.

One of them won the election last year, accused of not being nice to a popular member for stage 48 members, and got really ill.

It is no secret that Jurina is far from being popular here in Stage 48.

But really? She even got more down vote points than Noe??

I can't accuse those who voted negatively for her for NOT having personal reasons though, at least for those who voted in the last SSK's 3rd placer. It must personally hurt to spend all those money for the girl who can't even bag silver.

Congrats on having her center Iz*One's Hebirote. Even in the said group, she needed management's manipulation just to get center coz she failed through votes.

And oh, if you're saying its because of fans like me, oh puh-lease, many girls have snarky fans. Us Jurina fans can be the nicest in the world and you'll still downvote her.

I understand your feeling, unfortunately people got their own reason, be it sensible or not, and this voting only for s48, which is only a fraction of the fandom.

She won the big prize, people are salty, its human nature, time to move on

no need to take this out on sakura, she wasn't the one giving negative votes

tbh now you're being just as bad if not worse than the people you are talking about, go get some fresh air or something, this rank doesn't mean much, if anything

also fyi, some people dont like jurina for reasons not involving sakura, some people dont like sakura for reasons not involving jurina, they both had haters before the ssk thing, let it rest :fp:

    Of course there are.

But there are people who hates Jurina for Sakura-SSK reason, or at least use it as an additional reason.

there are, but again that's no reason to start bashing sakura, i disagree with people hating on jurina over the ssk and giving her negative votes, she was highly stressed, people don't act normally when they are stressed and i think people should try to understand more. Anyways, be the bigger person, ignore people who wanna be petty and don't stoop to their level, at the end of the day their opinion doesn't matter.

    PLEASE

How are you gonna start your post trying to state that the SSK drama should be left behind and that other reasons were more important to give negative votes and then proceed with a 3 sentence rant of insults to Sakura? Make it make sense, because this was pretty shameless

I think you're over-generalizing. I spent $1100 on that election and I guess it hurts more to come up with the money rather than whatever place she ended up in lol -- and the result is the result. But I think for the fans, the result is that sakura's happy with the vote total so it was all worth it. Or not, since Produce48 turned out to be more important lol.
So my negative votes are: Tano (-5), Nishigata (-4), Katomina (-3), Noe (-2), Ogiyuka (-1).

If you didn't like the negative votes, it might have been better to take it out on sakura's fans rather than sakura herself if you thought they were responsible. Which might not be the case as poeple have pointed out.

I really dislike Jurina, but not because I like Sakura. I dislike Jurina from my second time watching AKB48 Hebirote (So Long! MV). The reason I dislike her was because she's ugly and too old (her face) but she got the frontline, meanwhile the cuter girls just got the backline/behind her. And to know she's the the one who got the most push ever in the history of AKB48 Group made me dislike her more. So there's no need to blame other member/other member's oshi for disliking Jurina cause everyone have the reason to dislike her.

Still for this year S48's SSK, I think not wise decision to give negative vote for the innocent members (include Jurina) over the "troublemakers & bullyers" in the group.

    Jurina's 2017 score:
    92. (55) [13|12] Matsui Jurina {+79,-48}, 31

    2016:
    55. (13) [32|15] Matsui Jurina {+157,-62}, 95

    2015:
    13. (19) [45|16] Matsui Jurina {+296,-48}, 248

    2014:
    19. (20) [50|20] Matsui Jurina {+296,-67}, 229

And Jurina's current score, as noted above:
    [25|13] [SKE] Matsui Jurina {+124,-57}, 67

You'll notice a pattern... She's always had lots of negative votes. We all know this, so really this discussion was silly to begin with. Even the number of individual negative voters is similar, if not slightly lower when you take into account the previous years. The main issue is that she is losing fans when you compare to 5 years ago, but ironically, she had a pretty sizable recovery in positive voters (+45) for the 2018 ranking while her negative votes only increased by 9 points.

Her average negative votes from 2014-2017 is -56.25. So also funny, her negative votes this year aren't high or low for her, they are perfectly in the range of what you can expect for her over the past 5 years of forum voting.

Someone was probably just looking for an excuse to bash Sakura. [hehe]

Miru went up a few spots, nice. Maybe because of PD48.

pretty sure you might have Jurina confused with your own oshi ....

beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Kimi wa Melody .... need I say more?

let's face it ... both Sakura and Jurina were heavily pushed ... and it seems both there fandoms are overly eager to reach for the pitchforks and get at each others throat
(but most top members tend to have some pretty rabid fans, who should really get a anti-rabies shot someday)

In the end none of those fans have much reason to complain, as their oshis one way or another are always in the picture. Now think of the fans of those 200+ other girls who never got Senbatsu or never got a centre ... or only rarely got a spot in AKBingo or another show

cue Cristafari (or some other moderator) telling us to stop derailing the thread

On the contrary, I was considering jumping into this conversation, but I will hold my tongue. I definitely have my own personal opinion on the entire matter of Jurina, Sakura, and what went down at Sousenkyo, but I don't really have a dog in the fight, so to speak.

@Jurinavenclaw called people out, which warrants feedback, even if it is from people who disagree. At the same time, I don't like seeing people "piling on," especially when other people have already responded. But so far I have not seen any reason to intervene as a forum staff member. I will just leave all of you with this....

    NO IDOL IS ABOVE REPROACH!

I see it time and time again. People chastising those who downvoted members they like. Saying they have no soul, and other backhanded remarks. Yeah, I know it's often done in semi-jest, but there is some truth behind those those oft-repeated comments. All it really accomplishes is some people choosing not to reveal their negative votes, lest they have to deal with the wrath of the girl's fans. Mind you, I am not criticizing Jurinavenclaw's comments per se, I am saying in general.

Lol, Sasshi is hated less and less in this forum. In 2016 she was the most hated member easily. Without my +15 points her rank would have been much lower:
    103. (28) [36|23] Sashihara Rino {+141,-89}, 52

Last year she received only -15 negatives:
    24. (103) [19|5] Sashihara Rino {+95,-15}, 80

And this year just -4 negatives:

    24. (24) [24|3] [HKT] Sashihara Rino {+111,-4}, 107

Well, this year I gave only +10 for Sasshi, because I had to give +15 for Hyewon... :)

Well, just explaining why you are not really into some member will be 'rewarded' with a bunch of dislikes if you chose the wrong member ... that's: explaining and giving your personal reasons [hehe]

I like AKB in general ... and I like a lot of members ... and I don't have an strong opinion of others ... just one or two I have a irrational dislike for, but that's not them, that's me ....
I personally like Sasshi ... but I'm not a fan of some of her fans :)
And the inter fandom tribal wars ... I could live without them
(and I get that it's almost a logical part of an election like this ... but I still don't see the point of the downvoting option ... seeing you oshi get less or more votes then others is bad enough imho, seeing a bunch of downvotes just adds insult to injury ... but as I said that's my personal opinion)
