I'm really glad my #1 active kami-oshi, Moriya Akane, made top 120. It's a great accomplishment, especially seeing as I gave her my top spot on the list. I love everything about her and when I met her, she was super energetic and spoke to me in English. I even started crying because of how much I really liked her and she comforted me. She's just the absolute best.

I'm happy that Maaya got some love as well. She may not be all there but she's one of the most entertaining idols today and I'm very thankful for her and her antics.

I also threw a vote to Ushio and Junna who were climbing up my oshi ranks a lot in 2020! Same goes with Tada Kyoka. She's one of the more eccentric and memorable new/young girls in the group and probably my favorite of them so far. Plus, she's SUPER freaking cute.

I'm very surprised that #2 in my list made it to top 100. I guess we like crazy girls here.

 

I know who your number 2 is . I'm not at all surprised she's in the top 100. The girl is a star. Akane I think deserved to be higher, but at least she went up compared to last year. She was one of the 2 stand out performances along with Yui Kobayashi in the last Keyaki single, so I think she deserves it. There are actually 6 new Sakurazaka girls in the top 100 compared to last year. I thought a lot of people had given up on them, and missed the Last Live, which is one of the greatest idol concerts of all time IMO, but I'm glad they are still being supported.
I am a bit disappointed on the other hand that Hinatazaka are doing worse than last year, despite having a great year, but I guess with success comes backlash.

My ranking is limited to the 46-group. Well, mostly Nogizaka but this year 3 came from the other two groups to replace some graduates. Glad that Yuri and Reno got higher rank than last year. Sayu is understandable and she didn't drop that much. Kosaka Nao's rank is quite surprising I thought she will make it top 20. It was such a big drop. Anyway, I'm hopeful my sole Hinata girl will rank high.

 

I'm definitely sure we're thinking of the same girl here. She's definitely the breakout star of 2nd gen Keyaki/Sakura and there is no one else active, or even from the past, quite like her. Akanen definitely deserves a better ranking. Regardless, I don't take into account anyone else's opinion because Akanen is #1 in my heart and that's what matters to me.

 

The shadow 4th Gen comes back. I had thought she had declined back in 2018, but here she is amongst Nogi's new 4th Gen. Would they distinguish themselves amongst a full Nogi pack? Probably. Nogi 4th Gen as a whole really is getting good push. For me, Miyu's story as the returning 4th Gen is the most intriguing thing about her. Why'd she decline first round? Why'd she come back? Either way, I wish they would allow her to tell her story.

17. Matsuoka Natsumi (+2) - really like her personality, sort of ... snarky? but in a playful way. seems to be a good leader for Team H. oh and of course she's cute.

Somehow that ended up putting them in the same order they ended up in the final rankings, even though my negative votes had no impact on that.

That said I really don't understand how Chaewon is the highest ranked and most voted of the five.
