Four more for me today amongst many great members:

    16. 192. (111) [2|0] [N46] Watanabe Miria {+8,0}, 8
    17. 192. (140) [4|0] [AKB] Hama Sayuna {+8,0}, 8

    18.

    20. 321. (270) [1|0] [HKT] Ueno Haruka {+1,0}, 1

Yabushita Fu was really something special as an idol, and her graduation last year hit me hard. Pretty, witty, a beautiful performer – if she had stayed a bit longer she could have gone out as center... but in any case she was great all the way till the end, leaving with a photobook PR blitz. I have so many good memories with her, and she is definitely the unreasonable standard I hold other idols to :^^;:

After Fu, I always though Captain Michu would become my next STU oshi, but when it came down to it I realized it was Ishida Minami all along  The cuteness and maturity, she's so kind and inviting, and totally recalled all sort of details about me during a Showroom stream – definitely won me over.

Watanabe Miria might have been my Nogi oshi in another timeline. Her dancing was fantastic and I loved her energy with the other 2nd gens; her graduation was sad but not shocking.

I didn't place Hama Sayuna as high as last year as I kinda watched her decent into basketball fanaticism from the sidelines, but I still ache for her to get more time in the variety spotlight. Just having her show up on camera makes me smile.

Back in the early and promising days with ori48 trainees (before management introduced the challengers), Althea was one of the members who gave me the impression that she knew what AKB was and at least cared enough about JPop culture. I knew its not a prerequisite but I appreciated such trainees. With Ash and Faith gone, Thea gets my highest MNL vote.

You must have downvoted some pretty popular people if they still haven't shown up :fear: Please do reveal your reasons, I'm very curious!

Well considering they posted earlier in the thread about how they strategically used their downvotes on the Nogi top 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of people did that.

I did not post my downvotes last year: Yurisus was in the list with a couple of high ranking members plus two low rankers (one from MNL, another from NGT).

In the past, I did tend to downvote high ranking members: sashi, takamina, etc.

So my downvotes this year not being shown yet is not unusual for me. Proud and not proud at the same time of my downvotes for 2021 ^_^'

Let's just say I don't really care for possible repercussions for the 2022 ranking since Jurina can't be downvoted by others anymore.

I never reveal my downvotes anyway. My opinions are known to people who talked to me, but unpopular in this forum, and I see no point in starting a flamewar. Better focus on discussing shared positives and how much most people here need more Manafi in their lives.

I think I probably know one of them LOL.

And I probably know one from you too.

Anyway, I did not vote any negatives though, none for 2021, and also none for 2020.

Nothing but respect for one of the best team leaders/captains in 48G of all time! The SKE that I liked the most was when it was Jurina, Rena, and Chuuri/Kumin in the top 3.

None for my list, meaning I got 18 of 20 inside top 100 (mainstream is good).

So I will make random comments on some ranking here instead:

    144. (128) [2|1] [AKB] Hasegawa Momoka{+15,-1}, 14 >>> Why the downvote? It was just a misunderstanding.

    124. (---) [5|0] [NMB] Lee Siyeon{+17,0}, 17 >>> The Korean sure got some supporters already.

    124. (303) [3|0] [SKE] Hayashi Mirei{+17,0}, 17 >>> It's actually a breakthrough year for her, hope she keep shining in 2022 and probably I'm gonna vote for her next year.

A few today, my favourites are mostly very popular with 15 in the top 100, understandably so :cute:

    03. 131. (303) [4|0] [S46] Moriya Rena{+16,0}, 16 - RENA! She's flown straight onto my oshi list last year, she's so beautiful but she's also very hilarious and endearing! Happy to see her ranking up. I really hope she breaks her way into Sakura 8 soon, she's a star! Watch out for her this year guys!
    07. 124. (36) [7|0] [S46] Koike Minami{+17,0}, 17 - Wow that drop.. what happened friends?! Koike has been amazing this past year. Her center for Sonia is perfect and she's such an idol! She's someone you always want to see doing their best, and she's solidified herself as a 1st gen staple member in Sakurazaka! Please don't forget about her!
    11. 144. (93) [3|0] [S46] Habu Mizuho{+14,0}, 14 - I'm so sad about the rank drop! Habu has been very consistent in her modelling gigs, and her gaming show is doing so well. She even got into Sakura 8! She's been such a joy to watch in SokoSaku and her performance skills really shined through during BACKS LIVE. I look forward to more Habu this year too!

She's the full package: she's really funny, good on variety and tv shows (she had the most presences this year from sakamichi groups), also active as a model and smart. I am really proud of her and she deserves even more recognition.

    Just one today:

    16: 107. (132) [4|0] [S46] Takemoto Yui{+21,0}, 21
Yui has been my 2nd-favourite in the group from around the time of its rebranding and now that Akanen has left she rises to being my S46 oshimen in 2022. I love her energetic, funny personality and her beautiful heartwarming smile. I'm very happy that she made the senbatsu for 'Nagaredama' and I hope now that her talent can properly shine through.

    Two for today :

    11. 144. (156) [4|0] [N46] Nakamura Reno{+14,0}, 14 -> (+4)
    12. 115. (87) [4|0] [N46] Higuchi Hina{+19,0}, 19 -> (+3)
    13.
    14.
    15.
    16.
    17. 153. (234) [5|0] [N46] Yumiki Nao{+13,0}, 13 -> (+2)

Reno has suddenly blossomed in 2021, imo. I just hope management gives her that one chance so they can see what she can do with it. I believe Reno can rise to the occasion. With 5 members locked in among 3rd, she can be the 6th. But I think it must happen this year and it should start next single.
Though she was never one of my top favorites, I always have this liking towards Chima. She can sing, she can dance, she can be funny, she never backs down to any challenges. Such a sweet/charming young lady.

4 members from my top 20 ranked today!

    134. (328) [3|0] [HKT] Takemoto Kurumi {+15,0}, 15
I ranked her at 17 and gave her 2 points! She's adorable, a good performer, and she has a cute personality! Glad that she got promoted, I hope she can be a prominent member in HKT.

    134. (87) [5|0] [AKB] Omori Maho {+15,0}, 15
I ranked her at 20 and gave her 1 point. This was the rank where I didn't know who to rank, but I decided to go with her, to support AKB a little more ^^ I remember liking her in those concerts from the middle of the year, she performed well. Hopefully for her she can make senbatsu in future singles!

    115. (104) [6|1] [AKB] Chiba Erii {+20,-1}, 19
I ranked her at 11 and gave her 4 points! I think that she did very well this year, I liked seeing her as a center in the 2 Sukapaa! performances that AKB had in Spring and in Christmas.

    112. (74) [4|0] [AKB] Kubo Satone {+20,0}, 20
I ranked her at 7 and gave her 5 points! I wish she ranked higher than this ;w; I think she's one of the cutest members.

Short comments about members that I didn't rank:

    144. (118) [2|0] [STU] Kadowaki Miyuna {+14,0}, 14
I tried to limit the grads in my ranking so I didn't vote for her. I always liked her and I'm sad that she had to leave ._. I wish her good luck.

    144. (128) [2|1] [AKB] Hasegawa Momoka {+15,-1}, 14
The short time where she suddenly got pushed as center was exciting for AKB, but sadly it ended too soon. Glad that she's back as actress!

    134. (---) [1|0] [STU] Kudo Riko {+15,0}, 15
I recently saw an old stage of STU 2nd gen (I wrote my full opinion here) and I think this girl is cute, she has sooo much energy, she's fun!

    124. (145) [4|0] [STU] Oki Yuka {+17,0}, 17
I don't know her very well yet, but I saw this video the other day and it's funny ^^ She got my attention now!

    124. (303) [3|0] [SKE] Hayashi Mirei {+17,0}, 17
I think she did very well as the new SKE center, and successfully made the group feel more "fresh". Nice to see that she is getting support!

Seimiya is always a joy to watch. Full of energy and happiness. And she speaks good english, always a plus for me.

I laughed a bit too much about it. [hehe]
Like a firework rocket. Rising to the sky and then exploded into many colorful sparks. And nothing more - beautiful colorful sparks in front of an ocean of stars, which then dissolved into thin air.

But for real- Hasegawa could have been someone important for the future AKB, sad that it ended this way. She already had the look, and with time her attitude and idol skills would surely improved a lot. What a waste :/ Hopefully she'll make it as an actress :)

I don't have an issue with people not posting their rankings, be it negative or positive. I'm just wondering why you'd have an empty list at the bottom of every post if you don't intend to fill it in? Might as well just leave it out.

    01. Kobayashi Ran (+15)
Ever since Tano Yuka graduated, I haven't had a proper oshimen. I had a couple other favourites that naturally slipped up in my personal ranking, but I never truly felt like they were my oshi(s). However, this year, I was super impressed with Ran-chan's fire and how she shot down Hiroyuki on the new variety show. Then, she posted a dance cover of Ne mo Ha mo Rumor, the first one out of all members to post a solo dance version. Other members (Mukaichi Mion, Okada Nana, Murayama Yuiri) have also all mentioned her in interviews because Ran-chan knows every single position in Ne mo Ha mo Rumor and they're all super impressed with her perseverance. I also got an online talk session with her, and she made me feel so special, she's so sweet and incredible. I ended up buying more slots and she recognised me and made an effort to speak English, even though she obviously struggled. I have really high hopes that Ran-chan will be an incredibly valuable asset to AKB in the future.

@ the other two people who voted for her - please consider giving her more points next year so she can make the top 100 :flower: And also everyone who hasn't voted for her, I really recommend keeping an eye on her!

    11. Hayashi Mirei (+4)
Congrats to Mirei for being promoted this year! "Ano Koro no Kimi wo Mitsuketa" did so well, I was so impressed! Although the song may not have sold that much, it stayed in the charts for weeks. Mirei did so well! I really hope she can become a new star in SKE.

    14. Oda Erina (+3)
Oda Erina had a solo stage at the end of 2020 and she's really proven herself as a great performer, dancer and singer.

    17. Takayanagi Akane (+2)
Churi has always been one of my favourites in SKE. I'm sad she's left the group but hope she's well and happy.
