Announced on April 20, 2016: BEJ48, new Chinese Idol group based in Beijing, sister group to SNH48.

Team B will have its theater debut on April 29 with Theater no Megami and Team E will debut with Pajama Drive on April 30.

DAT TYPEFACE. ISTG, that typeface in the logo. I can't get over how thick it is. I wish they fixed it TTwTT

 

To be honest, I think it looks better than the original one.

 

I'm glad we're finally seeing Hu Bowen, I remember her being "leaked" a couple of months ago.
Xiaohui, Meijun and Shuli had caught my attention when they were in XII so I can't wait to see what they'll be up to in BEJ.
They are a very pretty bunch overall, I'm already into them.

That's okay and all, but from the point of view of a designer it pains me to see light, light, light, light, light, BOLD, light, BOLD, light, light. It wouldn't jump out so much if it wasn't for the fact that all the other groups have the same typeface and it clashes even with SNH's logo and doesn't feel like a genuine branch of SNH let alone AKB x___X If I didn't know it was official and real I'd assume it's just some fanmade logo.

 

^True that. If you showed me that logo -even if it's compared to SNH's-, I would automatically think that it's some unofficial group people came up with.

 

So, apparently Team E's official color is the same color as SKE's team E, according to the theater passports in their goods section. So if things weren't confusing enough...

 

god knows china has enough of those already >_>

 

They still don't fix the names argh.

Is this produced by Akimoto Yasushi, if yes then this is considered the sister of AKB too.

one word: YOUNG.

but honestly, a source says between 15 (Wen Yan) and 22 (Feng XueYing) with two ages unknown for Team B, and between 14 (Zhen YiFan) and 21 (Chen JiaoHe) with 6 member's ages unknown

I was more of asking about specific ages, since the Wiki isn't updated with most of Team E's.

The new group feels way more sophisticated than SNH48 first debuted.
