SNH48 has released their newest EP Lovely Echo. This EP acts as the voting single for their upcoming SSK. This is 1st center position for Team HII member Wang Yi. The MV was filmed in Phuket Thailand and directed by Zanybros.

In other news, Team X member Wang XiaoJia aka Tiancao AKA Skygrass has graduated officially. Her graduation stage and graduation single will be announced at a later date.

 

CGT48 has finally debuted. They debuted with a total of 31 members. Team CII mostly consists of GNZ48’s 13th generation. ( This makes sense a lot of these members had SNH48GROUP trainee in their Weibo username instead of gnz.) And 2 former shy48 4th gen members Meanwhile, Team GII consists of the 1st gen members of CGT. They also have 2 trainee members.

CKG is back again from the grave lol. They introduced their 6th generation which consists of 15 members. It was also announced their new group color is now yellow and they will be getting a new Xingmeng theater in Chongqing. (They have been performing at local theaters ever since their reformation).

There has been a report that STAR48 registered the trademark for the group HKG48

Team NII's new original stage "应许之地" AKA The Promised Land will premiere on June 23rd, 2023. This stage follows the story that was set up in their last original stage 时之卷 aka the Scroll of Time.

SB might just name them Team HIII cuz it'll be easier. SHY48 originally had team hiii but since they have been disbanded for almost 4 years now so its up for grabs

 

I wonder why they aren't reviving SHY48 even though they have revived CKG and finally debuted CGT feels a little unfair

The digital album will be released on June 27th on the Chinese music streaming services no word if they release it on Spotify and apple music.

Current reigning ssk winner Shen MengYao has announced that she will be leaving the group and is planning to sue SB. She states back in May she was diagnosed with moderate depression and bipolar disorder.

On July 16, 2023, Dai Meng (Diamond) (Honoured graduate of Team SII, Star48 soloist, SEN7ES member) announced on her Weibo account that on July 7, 2023, she had filed a lawsuit against S!ba, and has applied for a labour dispute arbitration. She also stated that due to this lawsuit having an NDA, she is not able to share more information with fans about where she stands or her future with Siba Media and STAR48.

And, on July 17, 2023, she made a post on Dai Anna's (her cats) Weibo account, showing that siba has kicked her out of her Weibo account, by changing the password.

What are your thoughts? I personally didn't expect this, maybe it's me being narrow minded but considering she's one of their only 1st gen grads left and one of their biggest money makers, you'd think they'd treat her a bit better, no?

• BEJ48 Team B and Team E will reform ( cheers)

I wonder why they skipped the Philippines and also I guess HKG48 will become a reality now

 

can they use the same acronyms as akb in an international contest? i remember reading here that "48" isn't trademarked by akb/aks but it would be weird to have snh have sister groups with the same acronym/48 suffix in places were akb isn't already there.

Team X member Wang XiaoJia will be having her graduation stage on August 19. She will also release her graduation single "Feeling You" on the same day.
SNH48 will be releasing a new original song titled "唱我的歌" (Sing My Song). The song celebrates the 10th Anniversary of their Xingmeng Theater.
On August 18th former Team NII turned honor graduate Zhao Yue will present a special solo stage at the Bandai Namco Theater. Its called "万花镜
