I used to think that if I'm not interested in it then I will just ignore it and everything is gonna be fine
However, it turns out that the obnoxious K-pop fans just never leave other people alone. In order to praise their idols, they go to other places which do not belong to K-pop and bash the other artists. K-pop is a trend but that does not mean it's the best (just like Justin Bieber, hugely popular but is never considered good singer). I don't mean all K-pop fans, I know there are quite a few members in this forum who love both K-pop and J-pop but the majority out there just keeps pissing me off

Idk, but I got a feeling SNH's management is better than JKT's one. While they're busy holding their performance at parking lot, SNH is looking for a theater :hmm: Anyway, I have not heard any news about TPE lately even though they're announced before SNH one. And the theater would be on the central of the city, it's a nice idea to attract a lot of people's attention, hopefully this sub-group would do well with the benefit of their theater location.

If the theater search is any indication, then I'd say you're right about SNH management being so much better than JKT's... >.<

I do wonder about TPE too though... >.< But I guess it is good that SNH is getting off the ground. LOL

Seems like they are currently looking for staff as well, so if you are a manager, dance trainer, or lyricist you could try your luck.

Re: [NEW GROUP] SNH48 (Shanghai, China)

I remember that yesterday they made a typo by writting it "SHN48" instead of "SNH48" :hehe: But yeah, it's not a big deal anymore... Anyhow I got a stupid question to ask, will anybody from here apply for its first recruitment? Since I barely heard and has never been into any chinese music, I guess SNH will be the first one I try

Doesn't sound like many actually given the population of Shanghai and China....lol

I watch mainland Chinese TV for the different regions on a regular basis and the singing talent shows are pretty common, and there are some really really good young girl singers out there. I think the problem AKB48 might end up having is the Shanghai group showing up as superior in talent and vocal performance to the Japanese group. This would probably end up causing Japan management lifting the requirements of the their group.

And for the future.... how long before the have a super group made up of the best of Shanghai, JKT and AKB..... etc.... that perform once a year, have an annual single.... can see the money pouring in now.

the stage looks flashy with all those distracting elements. I prefer the more sober stage setting so u can focus more on the girls' performance. Looking forward to the finalists, im glad the hangzhou girl passed to the next round.

The design looks really great, especially the stage one. It actually kinda reminds me to a concert stage that JKT held before [hehe] Well, let's hope that old fashioned building can turn as awesome as the image shown.

And uhm, when are we going to move this thread into a new SNH sub-forum? Until the names announced?

No matter how great all the other groups' theater are, I will always prefer going to akb's theatre :')
I would gladly go to this one tho. I mean, just look at the image, I can already see how awesome would it be [clap]

Lets hope the Chinese protestors won't vandalize, damage or do any kind of stupid things to the theater [sweat] Or I wish, they would not even know anything about SNH being one of the sisters of a Japanese idol group

You mean the one from RCTI?
Yeah, that one looked terrific indeed [hehe]
