oh did i type piano lol sorry i meant clarinet. I taught myself when i was about 13 or 14 and i took from there really (im 16), I just started having lessons. You should try you never know you might be good at it. Yeah i always go on youtube and search on piano pieces, especially on new music.

 

Oh. hahaa. Clarinet.... I only played for 3 years.. 2nd grade to 3rd grade. That was like... 8-9 years ago?! woww.. I was pretty good at it. I think I could do a lot :] It wasn't that hard really.. cause it didn't have that many notes? (dunno the term)

piano ....

so many asian parents forced or persuaded their kids when they were young to take many lessons, recitals and such..........some kids loved it, and made it to a hobby, i'd say most either resented their folks for being forced to play, or just plain didn't give a crap about piano, and just did it to appease the parents.

i played sports....

 

hehe. I'm one who did both ^_^ Mom forced me to play instruments.. and then I just loved playing sports so I ended up with half half... well... now it's full time Bball.

though i ended up being quite healthy, not to sporty and more to pop and not "classic"
forced to do piano, and ended up in guitar..^^

Speaking of instruments... I play drums and percussions. Cause from when I was little, I had this fascination of being behind a drumset. That would be so cool!!! I always admire drummers, cause they can split their brainwork into 4 parts. Simply amazing.

 

^ Yeah >_<;; How do you do that.... all the rhythms and such.. I play Rockband... and I know it's not like the real thing... but it's much easier yet... I can't get the rhythm down. I can only go medium on Rockband >_<;;

 

Well...with much practice, you can eventually do it. But up until now, I have this difficulty of controlling my left foot. Dang. I don't know, it's just so hard to do!!! :x

Ah...cool. I can't even play those music games like Drum Mania, Guitar Freaks and such. I can only play the real instrument.

Yeah my left foot, the one that controls hi-hat. It seems that after awhile, my foot will always begin to stop moving. I can only move it according to the rhythm for a short period of time. LOL.

though in my opinion, guitar hero doesnt really help your guitar skills.

nothing beats the real deal, the real shabang, the real thing! go out and get a real guitar and play.

 

Guitar hero... increases your finger speed. That's my view on it. The songs are so afkjalkfja hard to play its crazy. Specially Dragonforce LOL.

 

Worst day ever since I returned from Japan. Someone kill me please.
