I just finished dling the Jump&Cry PB... and saw some of the pictures... and came to Tomo~mi crying.

Note to self) Never make her cry. It isn't too pretty :[

My best friend gave me that 'WTF' look when I showed them my Skirts, Hirari boxset.

Friend: "What are you going to do with 20 CDs of the same song?"
Me: "There's a different girl on each CD"
Friend: "But why?"
Me: "I dunno, lol. It's AKB48!!"

I'm afraid of what he'd think of my collection of Acchan photos. It'd probably go something like "$800!!!!?????!?!?!?! Are you sh***ting me!!!!???? I don't think we can be friends anymore."

 

hahaha...got lost in the forum a bit...never knew they added ske48 already so i was like where's the depot?! how stupid of me...

In light of recent events, I figured I'd post my two cents on the matter.

Five of the original Team A girls are/have graduated together, and there's long been speculation of other girls graduating.

As a fan in general, I too am shocked by the five Team A girls graduating at once, even though those five weren't my top favorites. Their graduation (as well as both Kikuchi's dismissal and Inoue's departure) has prompted me to really reflect on a lot of things, both as a fan and as a person. Several fans have take the time to wish these girls well in their future endeavors, but also we should take the time to wish ourselves well in our own.

Several people have expressed hopes that things would stay the same as they are with no more graduations; but realistically, despite how dear the girls may have grown to us, all of the girls are going to graduate for whatever reason (provided AKB48 does not disappear on its own first). Change is inevitable, and while we cannot control what sort of changes may come or when they'll come, we can control how we react to them.

Change is scary because the future is unknown. However, people can grow stronger by pressing forward, both because of that fear and in spite of it. With that said, we should take the time to reflect inside and to tend to ourselves so that we may become greater fans and people than we were before.

I saw my beloved Miss Narita Risa on the banner, along with the other 4 girls. I thought, hey what's going on? Why is she suddenly on the banner? It's rare for her to be in front of...there has to be something going on.
I look that there is Oye among those 5, and I remember that Oye (correct me if I'm wrong) didn't appear on Shibuya AX Concert. Is she graduated?
Then something scary strike me like a lightning...are those 5 girls graduated???

Then I read giddy's post above.

Well I know that I'm left on new infos and news, but I feel a sudden sadness inside me. Those 5 girls are graduated, right?

Just when I'm back from my hiatus, ready to enjoy AKB48 again...
Well...I just don't know what more can I say. If it is true that my beloved Miss Narita Risa is graduated...
