    Another Kit-Kat story, but this is a good one, as it features the Donki store (in Shibuya, not Akihabara).

    "The seven-story Don Quijote megastore in the Shibuya district of Tokyo is open 24 hours a day, but it’s hard to say when it’s rush hour, because there’s always a rush. A labyrinth of aisles leads to one soaring, psychedelic display after another presided over by cartoon mascots, including the mascot of Don Quijote itself: an enthusiastic blue penguin named Donpen who points shoppers toward toy sushi kits and face masks soaked with snail excretions and rainbow gel pens and split-toe socks. The candy section is vast, with cookies and cakes printed with Gudetama, Sanrio’s lazy egg character, and shiny packages of dehydrated, caramelized squid. It’s one of the few places where an extensive array of Japan’s many Kit Kat flavors are for sale. Though the chocolate bar is sold in more than 100 countries, including China, Thailand, India, Russia and the United States, it’s one of Japan’s best-selling chocolate brands and has achieved such a distinctive place in the market that several people in Tokyo told me they thought the Kit Kat was a Japanese product."

    I liked when the local Japanese markets carried these kinds of flavors of Kit Kat, now it's just the generic chocolate and the occasional strawberry ones.

    I finally began to watch 'Game of thrones' (it was time!!) I won't deny it's a great series, but I'm missing some real action. However, a friend already told me it will get more lively soon... ;)

    I'm going to watch the final part of the first season this weekend, but I couldn't help taking a glimpse of the last episodes before, so I already guessed it. Anyway, I meant some fights. There are a lot of schemes and betrays, but there is more thrilling action in the first ten minutes of the first episode than in the rest of the season... [hehe]

    Americans love the Japanese obsession with Kit Kats. Here is an new story about a single store in the Namba station in Osaka that offers flash frozen Kit Kats. You pick a base, you add toppings, then they use liquid nitrogen to freeze it all.

    As the story mentions, this store isn't even mentioned on the Chocolatory website. We need a post in the NMB experiences thread where someone stopped at the store going to or coming from the NMB theater.
