Definitely. Besides her eyes, she has extremely sexy lips And they're always pouty, so it just adds to that, with a nice mix of adorable. Appearance-wise, you could say, Hana is amazing. It's too bad that she's an underappreciated beauty in the group...she wasn't even in the 'JUMP & CRY' photobook, and not that many pictures of her in all the other ones, if there are, they're tiny ones.

sumimasen (excuse me...), for asking but i am still a AKB-newbie, how do they determine which girls are in the next single? by popular vote? i know the frontline girls probably get the best chances... this girl, i saw off ameki's sig, this girl is hot...discovering new girls, and i honestly overlooked her, and she is on Team A, probably cause i am so fixated on some of the other main girls. It's Hana's eye's and yeah, lips that caught my interest.
The front girls like Takahashi Minami and Maeda Atsuko definitely have the highest chances of being in a single, but no matter what, they'll always be in a single too so it doesn't really matter.They're the front girls B-) I'm not exactly sure how the other girls are picked, but a lot of things are taken into consideration. Like popularity, as you said. Also, singing/dancing capabilities. Obviously if you're not that good of a singer or dancer, your chances of being featured in a single are lower. But they also take promotion into account, like if they want to push certain girls into the spotlight more (the new Team B girls, etc).
thanks for the info. now i realize that they have ranking among the girls, and i know that in the H!P forums, on one of the threads, they listed the ranking in terms of store sales by member...do they do that with AKB48 girls, and i wonder if that comes into play as far as what may happen in placing them in a video, etc... I also heard that, when i first heard about AKB48, that each girl is good for something, like some girls are good strictly for singing/dancing, some for sports, some are just plain beautiful...basically each girl would have her good quality.... i see a lot of girls crossing over, and overlapping on these areas. I don't really see one for each girl in qualtiy...maybe i just misintpreted in the information regarding the girls in that intro video when i first heard about them a year ago.

The only thing that sort of annoys me is that even though she isn't the most popular AKB48 member, she is a lot more DESERVING to be than some of them. By that I mean she is a better singer than some of the girls who always get in singles, a better dancer, and I'm sure everyone agrees with me when I say she also looks amazing. I just don't understand why she isn't that popular enough D: Ah, maybe I'm just being a Hana fanboy right now
I don't know why, but that is one of the best posts I've ever read I agree Tojima should get more lines and exposure, it annoys me how some girls get into the singles based JUST on popularity, when they clearly can't sing very well compared to the others, and certainly aren't prettier than some of the others
I'm just keeping my hopes that Hana will be featured in a single one day, and not just in the background, but actually getting more lines and such. Or even more video time, at the least. It's potential going to waste, I'm not just saying this as a fangirl. I, too, am sick of the system of featuring the same lead girls over and over again, it's like Momusu where Takahashi, Fujimoto and Tanaka always got the most lines. I know why that system is there, but it's a large group, shuffle the girls around, try different leads. Who knows, right? Hana is a great singer and dancer, and you can't deny she's physically gorgeous. What's the hold-up?
