News this morning. Watanabe Rika has a few words.

    Back up

I hope they have entirely different shows. I wonder which owarai geinin SMEJ will choose. Although I would like to see Ngzk vs Kykzk episode on Nogibingo!

They have the unpolished look right now so I'm sure other members will stand out later. As for 22 members, it is rather low. Maybe some Nogi members will be transfered.

Agreed. It's a mouthful and too alliterate.

Maybe KKZ? If their higher ups vet the abrv KKK, I'm sure they won't use it.

Nogizaka is abbreviated as NGZK right? So maybe this one will be KYKZK? or KYZK? I prefer Toriizaka :(

Nogizaka is usually just Nogizaka. N46 is the "official" abbreviation according to Sony anyway. And AKB fans who want to make a standard usually use NGZ46.

    So

    Keyakizaka. K46. And KYKZ46, I guess.

I think I'll use KYK, or maybe KKZ, maybe KYZ? I'm not sure yet, kyk looks best to me so far lol. I think it definitely has to be only 3 letters though. NGZ or nogi is what I use to abbreviate Nogizaka46.

Why is there a discussion in an unofficial abbreviation? :^^;:

In the time you spend writing "I don't know if I'll write KZK46 or KYZ46 yet..." you could have written Keyakizaka twice.

I never got people writing NGZ46, tbh. They're supposed to be different than the 48 groups, hence why they go by the full name of the station.

Well, there's not much to discuss.

And nothing really wrong with discussing it, people have their own preferences.

I think I'll go with Nogi46 and Keyaki46; Tori46 would have been better though

I usually use Nogi, Nogi46 or N46 if i'm abbreviating. I'll probably use Keyaki, Keyaki46, or K46 tbh

You guys do realize that this conversation is going to seem completely irrelevant once this group actually becomes active [hehe]

I don't think its gonna be completely irrelevant, because many people still use different names for nogi, so its interesting to see what they will use for keyakizaka too. Actually I don't even know what the "official" nogizaka46 abbreviation is lol Even if I did, I'll still probably use nogi or ngz46

Yaki46? Yaki? Yakizaka? I guess if you abreviate it, it sounds better lol I think I'll roll with Keyaki for speaking purposes.

Well, this conversation will be irrelevant when the group officially starts activities, but it's relevant right now so I say let's talk about it while we can.

^^ I still don't understand how this will become irrelevant, because I never hear people saying or typing 'N46', which is the nogi official abbreviation, so I don't think everyone will just start using keyakizaka's official abbreviation either, unless it really makes sense. All the 48 groups nicely match the 3 letter + 48 nickname, which is why everyone uses it. But from the beginning nogi was supposed to be different, so there is always that ambiguity of what the abbreviation is
