honestly the village SRs are one of the funniest content that 48G offers right now. Especially the morning exercises trainings which have even the members themselves literally rolling on the floor laughing. Generally they are still quite bad at variety, but it's the fresh badness that usually ends up being funny in a different way. And then you have Shiya/Miyabi who is the best variety idol I've seen in a long time + Takeshi is also superb and they make for a great combo

I wonder what the girls think about what they signed up for lol. Most, if not all, probably came from the cities where apartments are common living spaces. Not only that, their parents probably do everything for them (especially the younger ones).

I suppose the village is just a gimmick, just like STU has the boat and NGT has... rice?

What I wonder is where are the rest of the girls.
The first gen is almost 40 girls and they are just those same six girls all the time.

 

The rest of gilrs are introduced through facebook and instagram. They are still practising for debut.
These 6 girls were chosen to become villagers after competing with other girls. You missed this.

 

Don't they live there or at least temporarily reside there? I guess you don't really understand because you've never had a lifestyle change. But anyways, what I was trying to get at was the whole going from urban/suburban living to rural living thing. It's kind of hard to explain lol

They actually had some festivity in the village today. Also 7 of the other members (including Abema, who seems to be able to hold conversations already) arrived today, but I'm not sure for what purpose exactly. Anyway, it starts at around 28th minute in the video and you've probably never seen any SR like that ever before.

I have to say TPE fans have not yet developed a strong uploading-members'-SR-to-YT game. Gap in the market!

 

Those usually get taken down after a short while anyway, but I guess it's good if you couldn't catch the exact time or missed the beginning~

It was lovely watching Fafa's first stream today though, she speaks English so well. um, she really needs a thread

they redesigned the website. It's a lot quicker, but it's still quite beta and it looks like optimized mainly for phones or something. Nevertheless the member profiles look neater and have much more information now. If only we had something like a TPE members section!

I have to say I'm impressed by the Japanese skills of most of the members. Even when they claim they cannot speak it they still manage to do at least a proper introduction and there are some very fluent girls. Liu Jieming (Aki) even said she'd passed N1 and in the above video Mina has the N1 textbooks in her room.
