[TV] - [AKB48 Nemousu Terebi] Season 5 (2010/10 - )

They will be reairing all the specials (except the third?) during New Year and the following days. Not sure how big is Fami-geki, but looks like Nemousu is one of their biggest programs.

 

I loved the HK and Macau SP
It was filled with greatness and Sayaka looked spectacular in that Chinese dress they had her in.

The show really illustrated how Mongkok Ladies Market works though, those people take no shenanigans and can be downright scary. [aup] Their attempts at speaking Cantonese were brilliant... I couldn't understand a word of it. XD English is a much better bet.

I lol'd so much when they were speaking 'Cantonese' and the seller goes 'I don't understand Japanese'. XD

The snake thing! I've heard of that and saw it in a movie once but it still grosses me out. I'm never going to take my cousin up on the offer to go out for snake ever.

The bungeeeeeeee. I think the one that surprised me the most is Miichan not jumping. I knew Yui would rock. [rock] ...even though she was crying at the end of it. Haha... that was cute though.

Loved the episode when they were in HK and in Macau.
Missed them about a week or two when I went to HK. Darn it!
They forgot to show the footage of the girls going to the HK AKB store/museum since they usually promote themselves in the show's end credits.

LOVED seeing Sayaka in the Chinese dress

Thanks for pointing out the Ladies Market (thought I recognized it as some market somewhere in-between Jordan and Mongkok). It's rowdy at night but at least the girls had a good time!

Wondering if the producers know that "Nee How!" is Mandarin and not Cantonese (as it is still the primary dialect in HK)

The burning thing is burning incense which is a treatment for ailments. It's supposed to suck out the negative energy (Qui) and the heat/ash also supposedly promotes healing.

Also, the foot therapy does hurt. I've had a similar treatment but for the entire body!
It's supposed to relieve the aches and tension in the body (yet you feel the pain during the therapy session)

Why do the producers insist on making the girls CRY
Poor Sayaka as she was freaking out on the tower!
Kudos to the girls that bungee-jumped [clap]

I'll have to visit that tower when I'm in HK/Macau next time, at least for the outside walk but not the bungee jump.
