My japanese is pretty much basic. Did the host on today's episode say Variety48 is also coming to an end?

So it looks like the show is ending?Why?

 

But it looks like a new show is happening. Physical Education Club? I think they said it is athletic activity, but will also have some variety to it. Will the same two people host?

 

Judging from the last episode, it seems more like an upgrade from Variety turning it into a weekly thing rather than the current monthly but shorter segments (i think?)
Both Combat and Koyuki still serves as MC.
