The finale was the funniest episode!
Aoitan is the usual amazing crybaby but she was beaten by Meru!
I love when Meru dragged sasshi into it and the staff arranged new thing to scare her off too
Mio instead seems unimpressed

BTW this screenshot is AMAZING

I wonder how Yukachan would have reacted in the haunted house. Would be fun ^^

I was kinda surprised about Natsu being a scaredy-cat.
2nd group was funny, Boss leading the charge [party] (and of cos she took Sasshi's spot in the middle of the group after Meru dragged her into the scenery ^^)

Aoitan is still the cutest crying kid out there. :3

I loved the part when Bossu screamed back to the guy in the Halloween mask

And did anyone else notice the bandages on both of Bossu's elbows? Bossu is gritty and tough

Yeah overall I thought this finale was ok. I didn't think any of it was particularly scary (aside from the guy in the Halloween mask), but just surprising. It's kind of expected when the girls are too scared to do anything and run immediately when something does happen.

I think this show can continue as is. They can just combine Hyakkaten by just including OOO48 members as guests. Then again they pretty much ran through all the important girls in the first 2 seasons of HH. I'm thinking this show continues as a 12 episode season to presumably interchange with future SKE or NMB shows.

lol moment when sasshi joined Mio's team and they got more pranks than the other teams btw in the last room of the haunted house , what boss said about madoka ? what kind of question they got ?

They end up tying wasn't surprising, it was kind of expected it, but I was expecting it's just be 30 mins each as usual so jaken was a good surprise. Eitherway I thought they would release everything in as set and which episode left off would be the DVD bonus. But now it looks like the two shows are going to be sold separately so I wonder what extras Tonkotsu would have.

The last episode was pretty nice the only minor complaint I have is the end skit there got a little sad feeling to it, and I would have prefer a more upbeat ending.

To tell the truth, Nogibingo's last episode also look pretty fun. That might just be enough for me to go buy the DVD set when it comes out...

Episode 11 will be sub by me (almost 50% done) and Episode 12 will be sub by XMS (80% done) so hopefully we'll get everything subbed before early March.

That's great to hear! Thanks for the hard work, as always, Half.

Does Tumblewush only do hardsubs? Why? Is there a way to get softsubs for the episodes that have only been hard subbed? A lot of us already have the episodes in HD and it makes no sense to re-download them again for hard subs when we could just get a small subtitles file. Some people can't afford to re-download a big file. Not to mention that streams inevitably go down, maybe tomorrow or maybe in a year, but they will go down and the subtitle can be lost forever then. It just makes no sense to release a hardsub alone.

What I mean to say is... I'd trade food for softsubs. Like, good food. For real.

^ You have to ask the respective subbers for the episodes. But you can get softsubs with my releases. (Gimme food now )

Last episode was far the best episode.
Mio expression of not giving a sh*t and lovetan not crying till the end.
Aoi just "I AM GOING TO DIE!!!! -sob sob- "
This episode had me smiling from start to finish except the bit where there was the female staff scream
that bit was like "oh sh*t...."

I got my limited edition DVD box today. Here are some pictures.

This is the DVD box itself (jewel case).



Besides the DVDs, the box came with these bonus items:

01. A booklet with some still pictures of the show and episode listing.




02. A "Post Card Folder", for you to store your pictures in:




The Folder comes in a paper box painted like a leather-bound book:




03. Finally, three pictures of random members. I got Haruppi, Shige, and Natsu. If you collect all the pictures their reverse side forms an image.

I know this is a very late response.
the thing is, tumblewush never published soft subs of episode 5,6,9 and 10(AFAIK) and had average quality in his hard subs for those episodes.
I have all soft subs but those episode but i have started to transcribe soft subs from the hard-subs.
episode 5 is done and im working on ep 6. so if you are still looking let me know and I'll send them when i'm done with all 4. however i cant promise you a date since i have 100 other projects, not 48 group related, going on.
And if anyone wants to help out making new soft subs for those episode, let me know and I'll tell you how I do it to speed thing s a bit up

Most episodes expect from 5, 6 9 and 10 can be downloaded from the respective subbers site. see earlier posts or just google.
ill let you know when im done with the 4 episodes that never got soft subs released.

 

Some of the links are gone now and I can only get the subtitle files for 1,2,3 & 4.
