-that second burger looks really good. i was telling my friend that i think that sushi with mediocre fish and good rice is better than sushi with good fish and mediocre rice. i might think the same with hamburgers and bread and toppings.
that was deep.
-seriously, jo cuteness is OH MY GOD. キュン to the max. how can someone so old have child-like adorableness, i don't know.
-"hamburgers are my 6th favorite food" haha what the hell
-minus points for miruki... lol.
-i loled when everyone got the burger to the amount that they got right. "i want the beef!" ahahha
-i'll probably have to re-watch it to figure out some of the japanese, i was a bit lost but it seems easy to figure out.

i don't understand how you can be a vegetarian in japan, but more power to her, i guess.

 

Vegetarians are pretty rare in Japan. Then again, I've met foreigners who come to live here but don't eat fish. [think]

 

Like me "want to go for sushi?" for the 1000th time... NOOO!!!
There's plenty to eat besides fish, so it's not like you starve if you don't. I survived fine for a year without eating fish.

 

I'm sure you did. There's nothing wrong with that. There sure is a lot to eat besides fish as well. I guess I'm more the type to adapt to my surroundings, the environment one's in, the culture of a different country. Such seemingly small things can greatly simplify interaction with the natives.

It's like I was going to Germany but stayed true to my no-sausage no-beer policy.

 

i thought there was fish in everything, or at least the essence of fish in everything so i would find it hard to avoid. =)

Man, that talk about the fish/sushi/rice was deep indeed lol about the sushi, I share the same opinion, the secret of it is the rice (it can't be bechobecho lol how can i say this in English)...I don't know about the analogy with the hamburger tho lmao but anyway...

The team split's were fairly amusing, and the way they acted while out and about too. Haru and Miruru totally skipping the item request by not calling back.. I thought that'd get them the punishment.
but then that towel gift was awful in comparison to what they bought so no wonder really.

I actually went out with friends yesterday, to an asian restaurant.. and tried sushi..(non fish) after gagging twice before I even swallowed any.. I've decided, sushi is not for me.. at all.
Bring on the yakiniku!

 

Didn't get as much of a kick out of this episode as I have in the past. In fact, IMO, the past few have been mildly disappointing.

HOWEVER, next weeks should be awesome. I am excite.

I've no idea, was kind of a mixed plate if stuff for people to try and I took one that looked like it was vegetables of some description.. didn't go down well, didn't go down at all actually.

Just a thought.. is Momoka the first KKS to appear on Naniwa (1st gen I mean?) because it's usually team N + 2nd gens.

the only sushi i know that is just vegetables is ninjinmaki, kappamaki (both are just seaweed, vinegared rice, and carrot or cucumber) or inari (which is just tofu wrapped around vinegared rice)...
