to be fair it seems there isn't a member who joined other group and could have joined Team 8 had there been an audition

 

It was hard not to think about graduation when you're from Chubu region...

But after all, many 2.0s turns 17 this year (Hattsu, Sayarin, Karen, Missaa, Kyoka) and currently in their 2nd or 3rd year of high school,
I think it's a normal for members to think about their future before they graduate from high school, regardless they're 1.0s or 2.0s.

So the fact Hattsu already thought about graduating didn't surprise me at all. Honestly, when I've started following her, she gave me an impression of a girl who usually think thoroughly and has a plan for her future - those monthly challenges and solo event are an example. At that time, I just thought if the thing didn't go well as she planned, maybe she'll end up graduate after she finishes her high school. In the end, those turned out to be successful, so I was very relieved. Personally, I think as long as she still has some TV appearances (especially AKBINGO) and is regularly selected as Team 8 Senbatsu, she'll stay.

Yesterday I thought for a while that she was going to announce graduation on the stage but it's finished with not a good feeling for fans either.

Clearly she has found her dream (which is good) and is building an exit platform (that's better), this girl is really smart, she's not gonna struck in this sea of girls for too long.

For me it's not surprised at all, she always say that idol carreer is a short life and she has many dreams to pursue, so now the countdown signal already start ticking, let's see how she juggles her life from now on.

clearly the only thing they don't wanna do (and ultimately the reason they quitted) is theatre because it's boooring

there is always some context, but in the end the truth is that Hattsu and the other 2 were always touted as the start of a new era - they could have been all out of the group after not even 3 years

also on the topic of 2.0s - NMB's 6th gens joined exactly a year ago, they have Twitter for like 2 days and more than half of them already have more followers than Missaa who has Twitter for almost a year herself

but is there even any job which would be determined by Eito hierarchy? It's either you are low in total AKB hierarchy or you are from the wrong region or you are too young. Good performers like Missaa and Hiina get called for events and stuff even if there might be other girls more popular than them. Hattsu herself had lately probably more appearances in BINGO than Nagi and Naru combined.

 

Any NMB would always have more followers than most eitos. And it's all proportional to their tit size. It's the average of likes per post that measures the real interest in an idol. If the number of followers mattered, then Sayanee would've won a few Sousenkyo with more than a million votes.

Magazines? Senbatsu? AKB Zenkoku Tour? Delivering water?

They started to call Hiina after she became friends with the popular girls. Hey, I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence.

yes but that's super little number, which is both more tied to total AKB hierarchy (the Eito quota in senbatsu keeps moving after all) and not really relevant to 1.0s/2.0s discussion

I'm not sure, you always have place if you're from the region, also Missaa already got place after only a few months in the group
