Feeling bad for Yumi. She didn't get a Valentine's present from two members of her gundan. Umezawa predictably chose Shiraishi and Yamashita to Sakurai. I always thought if Yumi gets one, it would be from Sakaguchi, but I'm thinking she'll disappoint too.

Then there's the terrible Sakamichi management, constantly horrible with their decisions. Take for example the recent Keyakizaka46 senbatsu announcement. They chose an overworked Techi as the center again. I wouldn't be surprised if Yumi decides to graduate this year, as a few underrated members have chosen to do so in the past. Nogizaka's management loves ignoring talented members and they'll never truly surpass AKB48 this way.

 

Cmiiw, but I thought both groups have different management.

 

I meant the two as a whole, the Sakamichi. Doesn't matter is if its two different managements or not, they're bad.

 

Well, I don't know about that, but I don't understand the leap from Wakatsuki not getting a valentine present to Techi being center again and Wakatsuki maybe graduating this year.

 

Techi got a mini break from her injury and she looks fine in the 24h Cosme PR event recently.

as far as Wakasama not getting valentine presents from Umezawa and Mizuki, i really dont think they are that close to Wakatsuki to begin with.
so my expectation to get any gifts from the 3rd gen for Wakatsuki is very low

Can't help it if you don't understand. Just stating some opinions that probably can't be understood by those whose oshimen is not Waka.

Kind of been pissed off lately, maybe that led to a confusing statement. My bad then, apologies.

 

Yeah, I know. From my perspective, when Shitara asked Umezawa about joining a gundan in the baka championship episode, she seemed clueless at first.

 

If any of her gundan would've chosen her, I was expecting it to be Yamashita. But Yamashita is just as bad as Kubo goading her senpai to making a gundan but only Wakatsuki actually forming one. At least Yamashita said that Wakatsuki was one of her favorites.

I don't feel too bad about not getting chosen by her gundan, the only one who has was matsumura and I believe that was only once (by KTK).

 

Frankly speaking I don't think Wakatsuki feels that she's being underrated both by management / fans though. She might not be Nogizaka's face, heck even ace, but she is able to grow alot with Nogizaka. If anything, the last valentine episode kinda shows that Waka-sama Gundan is maybe the most "business centric" Gundan from all of them. I mean, just look at behind the scenes stories with Yamashita, going around targeting her Senpais to make a Gundan (and she did a great job covering herself up while answering Takayama )

 

Pretty sure she will stay for a while longer. It was her idea to establish Wakasama Gundan so judging from her personality, she won't throw her responsibility just like that.

Talking about the members are not that close with Wakatsuki in the first place, this could also because the very first foundation of member selection is that each of them has the letter 美 (mi/beautiful) in their names. People thought that the final member of the four would have been Eto MIsa, but it turns out to be Sakaguchi TamaMI.
