Single Warota 7 [Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke!] 12/05/30

Sales will pick up for the next single. It was suicide for them and Not yet to release in the week right before elections, as probably 95% of fans are busy buying up copies of Manatsu no Sounds Good so they could vote instead of buying this. At least for Japanese fans, they're happy with the numbers because it means Mayuyu fans as well as other Warota fans are concentrating on voting their favorite members up in the election instead of this. I definitely won't be picking up any copies up until Acchan's Kimi ha Boku da releases in mid-June when I've built up some money again. It's actually some Not yet fans who are worrying because the numbers for Suika Baby remained relatively high, so they might have misplaced priorities

It's kind of a shame because Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke! is one of the strongest singles Warota has had in a while, but nobody cares when elections are at stake

 

Sadly, I haven't been a big fan of Warota's sound, but I love this single.

Oddly enough, the first Jpop CD I bought was like back when I was in middle school... it was the BB Queen's version of Crayon Shinchan's opening theme. I think I bought it in like 94 (it was like 2 years old by then). So yeah, nice to come full circle and pick this up.

Shame that it didn't beat Not yet in sales...

 

Oh lord, should be interesting to see where they go with it then......

 

Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke! ranked 4th in daily ranking yesterday, so no sales figure available. It is behind Not Yet, AKB and Sekai no Owari. Since the 3rd placed single sold 4,309 yesterday, Warota has sold fewer copies than 4309.

I am so sad to read about the huge drop of sales for my favorite Sub Unit, & the reason why I'm here in AKB48 world. This single is one of their best single & very unique too, but even though we know the reason why, I can't stop being depressed.
& what add more fuel to the fire inside my heart, is when I read some article like this:

I really love this single. Too bad they were eaten by NY. But I love NY's single too. Just saying, this is way much better than Kibou Samyaku. Too bad Cindy does not have Nacchan's low tone and Haruka Nakagawa's (she doesn't want to be called Harugon anymore) vocal chord operation changed her voiced making the harmony sounds different this time. You can notice at the chorus part, Mayu's voice is so prominent to compensate the two shortcomings I've mentioned above. But overall cute song.

I wish they would do an FT song again, i.e. Kanpeki Gyu no Ne.

 

Errr... Kibou Sanmyaku happens to be the only Warota single I bought and I have played it hundreds of time. I can see that it is an exception for Warota because it just does not seem to be a song that Warota would sing. Anyway, I have a feeling that Warota is given all kinds of odd songs to try -- just think of the "Shimai Donburi" song in this single

 

Well, not saying Kibou Samyaku was bad but not typical idolish song. Reminds me of Daimos or Voltes V or Mazinger Z. Ahahaha.

Right on the mark with the Shimai Donburi. Another weird single for was Akannbe Bashi. Haha. Super weird song. Super weird PV too. Ahahaha.

 

AHHH my favourite single so far.. my cd came today and i'm definately voting for her movie to be shown !!! Ahh after the election i felt so bad for rabutan.. hopefully she will win this!

 

Yes this single is much better than Kibou Sanmyaku. [clap]

One point that distinguish NY form WH7 is they are more colorfull. Look at their costums. Each members has different color from other. But, in WH7 I see that all members wear the same silver costum.

I need the song like Kanpeki Gyu no Ne which has energic music [rock]

 

Yup! That's my only song that I like from Warota (I also like Chiisana teno hira but with all ogi members )

 

This is definitely one of my favorite watarirouka songs, I hope they keep Cindy for good and just transfer her back to AKB. I know she's old but she's awesome

That was not bad! There are definitely live performances out there that are much worse than this one.

 

Yup they were quite good. I noticed that they were so conscious singing live while dancing, Wasamin and Rabutan had noticeable choreo mistakes. But overall, they were really great. Mayu is really improving over these years.
