Hello, it's been awhile. I no longer follow AKB48 but i will try to translate Mayuyu's articles once in a while.
Like some others i really wish she can graduate and pursue her own career.

WOWOW original musical comedy "Green & Black" held their press conf on 20th March. Scriptwriter & Director Yuichi Fukuda, regular cast Yoshio Inoue and guests Akinori Nakagawa, Watanabe Mayu also attended.

This time round, many musical stars gathered for the press conf. Mayuyu humbly said "I'm just a musical fan. My hands are sweating much infront of them." When Nakagawa san revealed that him and Watanabe train under the same vocal teacher, Director Fukuda asked "Mayuyu are you aiming for musicals?" Watanabe replied "I'm thinking of it so i'm always practicing." Inoue and Nakagawa beside her said "You're always welcome."

Director Fukuda said "If you don't graduate, you can't challenge the musical world right?" To that, Watanabe replied "Yes, it's difficult while being in AKB48. It's difficult to juggle both." On this day, the 9th Sousenkyo was announced and Director Fukuda said "Isn't it the wrong time to be participating in things like Sousenkyo?" Watanabe laughed and said "No, no, no."

Inoue and Nakagawa "We'd like you to join in anytime, the musical world welcomes you."

Even the director seems to think that Sousenkyo is a joke.

 

If this is Mayu's last election we should make sure she gets the crown like the real queen she is!
I planned on supporting more of my favorites, but Mayu needs them votes the most right now.
Ah... it will suck so much if she doesn't win...

I always thought Yukirin suits musicals well because of her singing ability, big reaction and love for live performing. But it's great to see Mayu showing a lot of interest in musicals since last year and to see that she is so welcomed in that sector as well. I'm a big fan!
