That's amazing! I'm so glad Mayu finally gets a good song! (Well, I adore Labrador Retriever too, but good song according to the general public.)

Translations of the day:
Tomochin went to Mayu's grad con and really liked Avocado Janeshi. She tried to download it but didn't know how to write the song's name, so her search history was taken over by various spellings of "avocado ja~" as she tried to find the song. Sasshi replied and gave her the right spelling lol.

Awhile earlier, Nyan said she went to Mayu's grad con too. "Mayu was like a small animal when she joined the sempais. She worked hard all this time and became someone who lead the group forward. I think that's amazing."

Dear Mayu,

This day is finally here. Ever since the day you said to me that you are going to graduate, I really truly wished that this day will not come. But, watching over today's Mayu, who is shining the most brilliantly in the history of Mayu, I made up my mind to say goodbye. Because today is a most important day, to you, to the fans, to the members, and to me, I wrote to you for the first time since we met 11 years ago.

So many things happened in these 11 years, didn't they? In the beginning, for some reason, you always called me by my full name, "Kashiwagi Yuki-chan". "What a mysterious and adorable child," that was my first impression. Then, as the only ones from the same generation among many sempais, we started to spend more time together. Ever since that time, whether we are backstage, or commuting, or having a break, no matter what, Mayu was always by my side. I only needed you beside me to feel at peace. More than anyone, you would play around to make me laugh and to cheer me up. These 11 years, because Mayu was there, I was able to work hard.

Even though we've always always been together, at the second shuffle announced at Tokyo Dome, the time came for us to be apart. Surely, Mayu and I were going to keep on leading team B together. Yet, the team was scattered to the winds. After the show was over, although we almost never cry in front of people, the moment our eyes met, we fell into each other's arms and cried, ignoring the people around us. Being in a team for the first time without you, I realized anew how large your presence in my life had became.

Your strength of will, the way you always followed through, and your sincere and earnest attitude to work, I respect from the bottom of my heart. Even though you are not good at expressing yourself, I saw how more than anyone, you endured, struggled against, and overcame many challenges, relying on your willpower alone. Everyone knows very well, and is very thankful, for the lots and lots things you have done for the sake of AKB.

Therefore, the only thing I will ask of you is that, after you graduate, please think of yourself more. Be selfish as much as you want.

I have always been your gen mate, your best friend, and sometimes your mom. You are the apple of my eye. (TL: literally "it won't hurt even if I put you in my eye" 目の入れても痛くない, see here.) You are the only one I want to treasure like this.

In the end, although I wrote down all these words of farewell, there was nothing I can do about the reality of how much I would miss you. It was the first time I felt so very lonely.

To me and to AKB, your presence is irreplaceable. Even now, I still can't imagine an AKB where you are not here, and myself without you by my side.

Nevertheless, for the sake of allowing you to head towards your dream with an easy heart, I will work hard with the other members, who watched your back as you carried the group forward, to make AKB ever greater. Therefore, today is the last time I will say "I'm lonely".

In the remaining two months, let's make many many memories together. Let's once more laugh together at meaningless things!

accidentally reading this while listening to sad song.. damn feelings.

sometimes the only thing u need in this life is a friend who always stay on your side, a bestfriend.

almost all great pairing in akb ended tragicly, Atsumina dead, kojiyuu rarely happens, saeyaka is out of sight and dont even make me to mention the super tragic story of WMatsui

lets hope mayuki not gonna end up like all those pairing..

For the graduation song, Akimoto-san wanted to write a poem. He just wrote down what he was feeling at the time in verse form. Sasuga Akimoto-sensei, they are great lyrics.

I do drink, but not very much. I'm more of a social drinker.

Grilled meat. With beer.

Mion: It's really lonely. Because Mayu-san has been leading everyone from the front these 11 years. I will sing while watching over Mayu-san's back for the last time.

nah, its normal for them/akb, they've meet couples of kpop big act before, start from old-gen like tohoshinki, bigbang, snsd, till smaller act like apink etc.

what surprise me more is how twice could enter in kohaku list? how much JYP paid for that lol and why kpop is still trying so hard in japanese market?

they've alrdy meet in msta with keya, no interaction, but i remember both of group mention each other in their own platform, keya in showroom and twice in vlive.
