She is perhaps unique, I don't think that there is anyone like her in the whole world!

 

Fun thread! I'll start watching her closer from now on. As the eldest member, if everything goes normally she'll be one of the first graduates. I don't want one day I'll be watching Keya and realizing she's gone, and regretting for not trying to know her better.

 

Possibly, but not necessarily. Nowadays tendencies, also in groups like Nogizaka, AKB and textbook examples like Perfume show that age matters less and less, and graduations can have a broad range of reasons and affect members of any age. Considering that Keyakizaka is such a lively and strong group I wouldn't wonder if we wouldn't see a graduation until like two years unless something like the senbatsu structure and productions change drastically.

I can easily see Berika -who infamously failed around fifty job interviews before auditioning for Toriizaka- continue until her mid-20's.

By the way, it's right now in the GENERAL thread, but about Berika's shyness being possibly faked - my opinion on this is that she just doesn't like recording variety. You get glimpses and hear anecdotes of her when she does 'different' things, such as messing around with the members in the back rooms, acts a dramatic role in Tokuyama Daigoro, or practices dancing very hard because she's aware of her not being a natural. Even in early KeyaKake episodes, her brother said in a family enquiry that she is not a calm type. Her job includes just so many different things to do, and I believe she just doesn't identify with recording shows and giving interviews.

@BlackSwan -- Definitely a treasure for future generations to watch and learn from. I felt sorry for the "mothers," having to try to comprehend Berika for the first time.

went for the handshake event on the 22nd, met berika in the fourth session.

you can instantly tell that shes an adult from how she dressed. brown top, nice earrings, really pretty eyes.

shes way more interactive 1 on 1 as well. managed to get my default sentences through. heres hoping she finds singapore on the map.
also, i checked with her, she likes puns. be sure to use one if you meet her.
