Now I'm showing you Indonesian idol groups other than JKT48. Success of JKT48 in Indonesia affects other agencies to make Japanese style girl groups aka idol groups to compete with JKT48:

1. Lumina Scarlet - Scarlet Melody

Actually they're oldest idol group in Indonesia, founded in mid 2011 as a cover group by a group of highschool girls who are fond of Jpop (JKT48 were founded in late 2011). In 2014 they began releasing their own song.

2. Supermoeland - Summer Melody.

A reply to JKT48, interesting fact, they're from a small town in Bengkulu, a province in island of Sumatra. Too bad the project is discontinued now.

3. Twenty Nine Girls - Aku Berharap

An idol group from Jakarta. I'm sorry, I know only little about them but their songs are catchy.

4. Shojo Complex - Yume no Kakera

An idol group founded by Kawaiian TV with Yoshimoto Indonesia (I heard it's branch of Yoshimoto Kogyo). They recruit former JKT48 member Diasta as one of 1st gen member. Their songs are composed by Kato Hiroaki, Japanese artist based in Depok, neighboring town of Jakarta. They have cafe where they regularly perform every weekend in AEON Mall BSD. To gain popularity, they're pushed by AFA, last year they performed in all of AFA in Singapore, Thailand, & Indonesia.

5. Sakur4 - Justice Knight

Subunit of Shojo Complex but in fact, they released a single earlier before the main group. The song is original soundtrack of Satria Heroes, movie of Bima Satria Garuda.

Well. These groups have original songs. It's actually sign that JKT48 should release original songs.
