Needed a decompress after a long workday... got my studio monitors and put on Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' album.

Man... had forgotten how amazing this album was...

    My favorite comforting instrumental tracks:

Yiruma - River Flows in You

if the video does not show watch the video here
No need to tell much. I think most of you already know. Song from no.1 Korean pianist.

Ólafur Arnalds - Þú Ert Jörðin

if the video does not show watch the video here
Ólafur Arnalds is a minimalist composer from Iceland. Minimalist is my favorite type of classical music.

Explosions in The Sky - Your Hand in Mine

if the video does not show watch the video here
An intrumental post-rock song. This is the most romantic song ever, no lyrics needed. Play this song on my wedding.

Sigur Rós - Untitled 3 aka Samskeyti

if the video does not show watch the video here
Another instrumental song by another Icelandic artist. Samskeyti is a nickname for 3rd song of an untitled album which songs are originally untitled too. This is another song i want to be played on my wedding.

Lowercase Noises - Silence of Siberia

if the video does not show watch the video here
A song from an ambient guitarist. He also provided tutorials of how to play ambient music with guitar. He influenced me to learn guitar again actually.

My favorite comforting instrumental tracks #2:

    Radwimps - Theme of Mitsuha

if the video does not show watch the video here
Excellent film score by Yojiro Noda.

God is an Astronaut - Forever Lost

if the video does not show watch the video here
Not really instrumental, that's giberish vocal in the end. GIAA is a post-rock band from Ireland. The title suggest it's a depressive song, but for me it's a love song. Listening to this song makes me think of the girl I have crush on.

    Jonsi & Alex

if the video does not show watch the video here
Side project of Jonsi from Sigur Ros with his partnet, Alex Somer (they are a gay couple). Also not really instrumental, this song features Jonsi's signature hopelandic. Listening to this song makes me cry.

Lullatone - The View From a Foggy Window, or Your Head in the Clouds With a Fever

if the video does not show watch the video here
A song from hottest couple of a Japanese woman & a foreigner man, they're married. This song is made with just a Casio SK-1, a cheap keyboard but one of the best, it's popular among indie musicians.

    Lights & Motion - Anomaly

if the video does not show watch the video here
Lights & Motion is a post-rock/ambient project by a Christoffer Franzen, a multi-instrumentalist from Gothenburg, Sweden. This song is very comforting.

    Kesha - Praying

Legitimately one of the most beautiful and powerful songs I've heard this year so far.

Would be your favorite emo band when you're growing up. A long band name but still shorter than full title of Suzukake. [hehe]

They mixed emo with post-rock, inserting many instruments to their music, beside vocal, guitar, bass, & drum, there're also synth, violin, & trumpet, formerly there were cello & spoken words too.

    Kanjani8 - NOROSHI

if the video does not show watch the video here
I've been watching a lot of Kanjani Chronicle lately (the English segments always make me laugh) so I searched up some of their music and came across this. I've been listening to it on repeat for the past day or so.
Also, Maruyama's bass line and the combination of Shibutani and Nishikido's voices are so satisfying to listen to.
