I am currently reading a book on vampires. The name of the book is 'The Vampire Diaries'. The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith. The series premiered on The CW Television Network on September 10, 2009. The series takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. The main focus of the series is the love triangle between the protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and vampire-brothers Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). As the narrative develops in the course of the series, the focal point shifts on the mysterious past of the town involving Elena's malevolent doppelgänger Katherine Pierce and the family of Original Vampires, all of which have an evil agenda of their own.

I pick it up from a sale. And its worth learning why the western nations are so frantic about hunting these things away from the terrorist, its a weapon they created and feared the most, more than the nuclear arsenals they have.

Currently reading The Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake which is uh - dense. It's the doorstopper of all doorstoppers.

Slow-going and an acquired taste, but I really like the writing style and the weird and wonderful cast of characters. [clap]

I'm currently reading A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin and I've just started The Human Division weekly releases by John Scalzi. Episode 2 of Human Division was written in a completely different way than episode 1 which threw me for a loop, but it's still good.
