^ I never would have guessed.

You're the first gaijin I've heard that's not an English teacher!

As for me, I said I was working at the library, but that's my school job. I'm in my senior year right now and plan on becoming a Medical Technologist when I graduate.

hehe. i've been here for almost 3 years. not stressful? let's just say when things start to go wrong, i would rather lift a 2 ton boulder than sit on my desk, push buttons, and get yelled at.

@foojason: my english sucks. i would never make it as an english teacher. :(.

This job doesn't sound too fun. At least, try to move up to an incomplete failure. :| Well, you know what they say, once you're at the bottom, the only way you can go is up.

Well, by reading your previous posts you could have fooled me. :D

If you get paid, then "yes".

Ah how short lived it was. Well... I always had November <3 I officially start work again on Monday. A fucking hour away, and in a branch I hate, but on the upside (upside?) I'm the only teacher... No TV and beer make Tara go something something...

It seems that this thread started off semi seriously and then sort of developed into even less serious comments so what I am about to say will seem very boring, but here goes.
I am an engineering designer and use that world renowned design software called AutoCad, sorry I know its pretty boring but I'm stuck with it.

    yeah, threads.....tend to go off-tangeant sometimes.....lol

but that is a good field of study you do for a living, something respectable.

saying something boring is good and acceptable, can't always have the fun..lol

Yeah engineering! I'm studying materials engineering at my university, and am close to finishing my course on Intro to CAD where we use Pro-E (a useful skill for any engineer in all honesty). I've seen mech-e students using Pro-E to design assemblages with moving parts - oh boy, that's crazy.

I give you props for working with that stuff. How is work like in the real world as an engineer? I'm halfway through my senior year, and I'm still a little nervous about stepping out there.

I'm a sales associate at Old Navy. How's that for exciting?

Then again, I'm still in High School, so I have time to get a normal job.

At the moment, I'm training to (hopefully) dance in a professional ballet company... in a few years (again, hopefully).
