    Until Jo Eriko I've never heard a surname that short, that's cool.
    And I like how Uchiyama Mikoto's given name, despite being three syllables long, is only one kanji 命

    Yokoyama Yui.

    Her family name, Yokoyama (横山)alone felt very solid, strong foundation/power.

    It's like she's boss or something.

    You should watch NMB's HA! PV!

    I also the way her name looks written out fully, 横山由依. 依 isn't commonly used, and it has a great meaning, very fitting for her: reliant, dependable. It looks a lot better than 由衣, since the 亻radical makes it look more balanced in my opinion. Having two similarly shaped characters in 山 and 由 does look a little weird when written vertically, though.

    For other members, I like Tomu's for reasons stated previously: palindrome and cool kanji. I also generally don't like names that end in "ho", but Saho is an exception. Iwatate also sounds pretty cool. I also like the surname Watanabe (probably because of Ken Watanabe), and Milky's name kanji are nice: 美優紀.

    Murayama Yuiri

    I saw someone at 2ch who even misspelled her name! He wrote "湯入"

    It's confirmed that Murayama Yuiri has the most confusing name ever.

    Most people mispronounce her name as "Ayaki" or "Saki".
    Others misspell her name as "湯入".

    @x_AozoraKataomoi_x IKR!
    Since she's one of my favorite, I often write her name in my tweets or other posts, but I have to type "aya" first, then "ki"
    I guess I have to figure out how to input new dictionary to my Mozc IME

    Kuramochi Asuka! It's really fun to say, at least to me, and "kuramochi" reminds me of mocha drinks~ It's just a really pretty name to me.

    I always thought that her name said "Misakura" when I read it because the "o" is written as
    (sakura)
    Sato Kiara's name looks cool in kanji

    I think it's Kusaka Konomi and Kusakabe Aina.

    "Kusaka" is written as "日下.", where;

    is read as "くさ", which is a nanori.
    is read as "か", which is its on'yomi.

    I don't know much nanori + on kanji compound surnames.

    Ishimori Nijika from Keyakizaka46 has a beautiful, unusual name - Nijika "虹花" is written with kanji for "rainbow" and "flower". Tsuchida Teruyuki, the host of Keyakizaka show Keyakitte Kakenai, remarked on it in the first episode, praising her parents for coming up with such a name.
