    ok, I'm probably just flame baiting, but this it the AKB48n thread isn't it ;) ..... don't take it too seriously please


    To clarify, I have a history of being a classic mini driver, and then the new MINI came out ... and because there was precedent (metro and     maestro drivers being allowed membership) those new MINI drivers were allowed to become a member ... that pretty much divided the fanbase (mostly due to marketing choices by BMW, sending cease and desist letters to garages that had been using the mini name for years and years)
    There is an analogy with the 48 and 46 groups in there somewhere :)

    This debate has been had. Members apparently want a place to discuss graduation news for all (Japanese?) groups and this thread has been chosen. The original purpose wasn't really worth its own thread anyway.

    Hearing a handful of graduation announcements a year won't hurt you. Especially since most people then relocate to the member's thread, as is the case with 48G girls.

    Not really, she's been freeloading in nogizaka for a while now.

    And doing it by a blog post, that's pretty cold. At least when 48 group members do it, it's usually in front of the public at a concert or theater.

    FYI i meant that was surprsing when I was watching the Aikabu stream. I think the grad announcement was probably why the stream only had merely 5000 views lol

    Exactly. They're not as big on the dramatic surprise announcement at events.

    All Nogizaka's high profile grads:
    Hashimoto Nanami - Radio (ANN)
    Fukagawa Mai - Blog
    Ikoma Rina - Interview (Nikkan sports)
    Ito Marika - Blog
    Nakamoto Himeka - Radio (Rajira, which she was a regular on)

    I'm pretty sure there's only been one member, Nagashima Seira, who announced at an event, an Under Live.

    And Keyaki's only grad announcement so far was Imaizumi Yui, also by blog.

    What's so wrong with graduation announcement via blog posts?
    Whether big dramatic announcement or blog announcement, the effects still the same on the graduating idols' fans.

    If Nanase announced graduation in the recent bday live, which I attended, it won't make me less sad than a blog announcement.

    Because it's cold, impersonal and very "businesslike". Whether thats intentional or not, that's the way it comes off.

    Because it's not about sadness, it's about epicness and drama. If she had have announced at the anniversary live (which she should have) that would have been epic, remember Aachan at SSA, Mariko at SSK? Those were epic, not blah blah blah in a blog.

    The reason I started to follow this tread was just because I wanted to know if I knew someone who was graduating and didn't follow closely so I wouldn't have known otherwise!46's aren't members that I follow but I know some names so I don't see why it's a problem since like we're saying "oh this member of Morning Musume is graduating"!There's 46 tread on the forum after all!
