i just watched the Wainkwa 3kai PV and OH GOODNESS SHE IS PERFECT AS A CENTER, I HOPE SHE GETS PROMOTED TO A TEAM FAST AND HAS A LONG SUCCESSFUL CAREER IN THE GROUP!

 

She won me over..
This kid is too adorable yet doesn't seem that shy, just a little awkward..

I find her cuteness is very "fresh" since she's not in the genre of "Moe Trap" such as Akiyoshi Yuka etc..
Her cuteness is not even "Idolish".. I find her adorable like..
.. A Child Actress, maybe??

What's more adorable was, it seem like all stages outfit is too big on her..

and she had a huge potential (and height) to grow from now on~

And she's indeed one of the 3rd gens that have less starting-nerves, like Hazuki. Altough the level of her MC is still 12-year old frow what I've heard, short love-statements about fruit. But that's to be expected.

 

I just watched her debut performance and this girl/kid totally won me over too. She's just too adorable and she's really tiny which makes her even cuter.
Her performance was pretty impressive too for a debut stage. She does have a lot of potential to be a future ace of HKT.

 

I think HKT has a winner in their hands.

 

Nako has scored a big one today with a +19 on her mixi. The number might not be as big as it seems, but you guys know how mixi has been dead for ages, you hardly get a + let alone avoid a - plus her increase is the highest amongst every single girl in the 48Group. That's something. Anyways she's passed 2 more 2nd generation girls since the last update and is only 2 points away from her 4th kill.

Her Nakinagara gained a lot of interest on 2ch as well.

A lot of people mentioned her, and the reactions towards her are generally really positive. Mostly that she's cute but she's got her own stage presence. I just wish she'd get her G+ very soon, only then real popularity figures can be calculated.

About her looks, she's definitely the cute n sweet type, bu something about her face is not average, I feel like she does have that distinctive feature, I don't know if it's the Haruppi skin tone (sometime Haruppi appears a veeeery bit tan compared to the other girls, like a pokahuntas sort of tan XD) or her mouth area. But there's something about her that stands out. I'm just so pleased with her being the center of Wink cause even if the song itself sucked, the MV is something that would draw people in and she had a lot of solo exposure there, the idea of the MV was really cute and funny at the same time.

 

So Nako preformed today and I expected her to be in the NH solo like she was before but I was surprised to see Jiina doing it.
Then she came out as MARIA center. Unexpected to say the least. I'm not going to predict any more units from here on, I'm done.

Some may have thought that it would look strange, seeing that she's so small but it wasn't a problem as she was teamed up with her fellow 3rd gens Miku and Hazuki and not somebody like Mina.

Now for the performance itself, let me start by saying that she was good technically. The main thing that bothered me was that the tone and power of her voice clashes with the atmosphere and feeling of the song. Like I said in the NP thread it just sounded like a "Baby-Maria" to me when she sang.

It was amusing and I was smiling during the performance but that isn't the reaction I want from it. Sorry, but it was too strange and odd. Maybe in a year or two however for the moment I think that MARIA isn't really fit for her.

Lastly, some may have noticed that I'm not a "cute" kinda guy. Only very rarely do I find stuff cute, same thing with Nako to be honest.

Gotta to agree with @Dejure about Maria Nakochan center ver. Though I would add that the other two girls, Hazuki and Miku, helped to make it feel like a "Baby-Maria". Still I enjoyed it, as it gave a different look at the Tiny One.

@DeJure, thanks for the update, so glad cubozoa's channel is back. Too bad the older vids are gone though (Like Dat perfect Okapon MARIA center ). It was such an HKT gold mine.

Nako chan's MARIA was different. Not amazing, but you can see her performance has life. She's such a tiny precious thing.

Been digging up some stuff on Nako and looks like she has a history. Apparently she's been aspiring to enter the ShowBiz way before. She appeared in some CMs, events and other TV media. You can see she started all the way back when she was a toddler. Girl has ambition. Anyways collected some stuff if anyone's interested.
