    ^ I used to have cross-eyed front teef like Nanamichan's when I was a kid. Got braces from fifth grade -> sophomore year HS. They were much worse than 7-7-3's... so when I finally got them off (back in my day, it took a full five years -- nowadays it's less than two)... couldn't believe how straight they looked. Can't imagine being an adult with the snaggleteef I had naturally. :whistle:

    I feel in Japanese society, crooked teeth are more accepted than in the West, esp the US. Otherwise there wouldn't be yaeba & deppa maniacs, and tsuke-yaeba (adhesively-secured caps on canine that make them protrude like yaeba) wouldn't be a profitable dental practice there. :^^;:

    Me... I'm a JA, but bring on the straight teeth... being able to eat corn or an apple or cut a piece of thread without scissors, etc. etc. is well worth two years of a little discomfort every month, IMO... :D

    Teeth can be a charm point. I like Nanami's because they are just like my mom's.

    P.S. and I have been complaining in the Mako thread about how straightening her teeth ruined her look, but maybe that's just me.
