I think Sayanee would make a good fit by joining some Osaka-based bands after graduation, but I can't seem to find bands from her home city (Ibaraki city) or other nearby cities (Takatsuki) where she would fit well.

 

mayunee is a fan that goes to see sayaka regularly.

 

I'll genuinely miss her as a nmb member but she slowly distanced herself from the group in past years so the change won't be as drastic as I thought. I hope she's happy and enjoying herself, just like she did until now.

 

ugh I just noticed no one in NMB has the voice to really do the solo parts in Yokubomono atm. That's sad ya'll cause that song needs a strong voice imo. Yes, this is a legit reason to be sad cause that song is bomb as fuck lol

Can Sayaka be like Anza? Anza is 90s idol who became vocalist of a metal band. Lol, I don't expect Sayaka to going metal, Sayaka is punk more but it's true they can have many similarities that they both were previously pop idols.

Well Sayaka is a butterfly. As a larva she was a highschool student who played music & dream big. As a pupa she was an idol who learn a lot the things she needed to be a star, as an imago, as she's no longer an idol, she's now a rock musician. OK, Sayaka is currently in transition from being a pop star to become a rock star.

BTW, Paramore will perform at Summer Sonic in Osaka, 8/18. If Sayaka could & wanted to attend the gig and she isn't busy & tired then she should. I assume she can learn a lot from Hayley Williams. Hayley is one of the greatest female rock musicians. Meanwhile, Sayaka is a fan of Avril Lavigne who inspired her to play guitar.

 

Yeah she looks cool on FNS with her guitar, hope the last single for her is band version like give me five

 

If she wants Metal, she should just look at what her backup singer Asami Chan is doing with her band Lovebites. But as much as I love Sayaka, their vocal performances are not in the same league, not even close.

 

I feel like Sayaka won't give up her pop image, or not completely anyway. I feel like she'll probably continue mixing things up between pop and rock like she already does. Just my guess though.

 

Damn, I'm super late about this news since I don't visit 48 threads that much. I only learn about it from my YT recommendation. Shocking but I think fans know it's coming.
She is the remaining 48 member that I like. And I really like her very much. She's like my gateway to this fandom.
Wow, this is crazy. I'm sure she will have a great career. How great? Now that is up to her to decide but she's a total package so goodluck to her.

And it totally reminded me I forgot to post something ages ago. If you take a look at 17:26 Between/behind the two men sitting down there is a blue smartphone recording Sayaka's performance on video. One of those bar guys actually recorded the whole thing, and then uploaded it around 2 years later. Although the TV show only showed Sayanee playing 1 song, Sayanee and Ripopo were actually in the bar for around 13 mins and she actually sang 4 short songs for them (not including screwing up Jungle Gym).
