That's some good news to hear. I've read that the auditions for the morning dramas are rather difficult to pass, so it looks great as its a first for her and for a Nogi member!

 

Fukagawa Mai was technically the first Nogi Member to be in an asadora Mampuku in 2018, but she was already graduated at the time so Zukki is the 1st active member. Either way, major props for her, getting a role in an asadora is extremely hard and but highly lucrative offer that most professional actors/actresses dream of

 

That's assuming she had to audition at all. In Japan and several other countries it's extremely common for film companies and TV stations to pick really popular idols for acting roles without them needing to audition, with the deal simply being done between agencies and film/TV producers. The movie or TV series gains the benefit of a boost in interest and viewership due to the popular idol's fans watching it to see their beloved idol. I'd say this was likely the case since Nagahama Neru got a role in this morning drama as well.

If she really went to audition, or need to do the audition and passed, great for her. Not because she is one of the pushed and face of nogi. Hopefully she will get main role in a primetime slot later.

Kanata is a lucky dude, he's now worked with 2 Nogis - first Sakura then Mizuki. Though not as closely with Mizuki.

Even at auditions casting directors know the viewership boost from adding highly popular 'face' idols to the cast, NHK has done it before. Her popularity came from being in Nogi.

She has lots of pictures from summer's past. She also brings up the drama in the fall.

Also, you should go catch her in her guest appearance at NogiObi. She barges in to Hazuki, they throw the script out the door, and I don't think they give out a homework for the next member. It's been a while since Mizuki's done a SHOWROOM. I miss her there. She was the queen of SHOWROOM when she would do one on the spur of the moment. I miss those shows...
