Zukkii got a copy of Nao's photobook with an autograph and a Zukkii-dedicated message. In her mobame Zukkii raved about the photobook, and her favourite shot was the left one of the photos where Nao's happily eating Korean food.

She's grown really fond of Nao during the Majimuri stage play rehearsals; Zukkii thinks she's beautiful, interesting and a mother-like figure in Team 8. Every time their eyes met during the play rehearsals, Nao responded with a smile. Zukkii wants to get to know Nao even better from now on.

Zukkii wrote in mobame that she felt embarrassed before wearing the costume, but her shyness regarding the costume melted away with the warm comments of fans coming to her HS booth.

Translated some reviews of Zukkii's acting in the Majimuri stage play.

"Miss Oguri Yui, she makes one think "Is she only 16?".
Off-stage she leaves behind an impression of a really young, cute girl, but when she flips the switch she makes a 180-degree turn and becomes a full-fledged professional.
She really understands the fundamentals of stage plays, understands straight away what's expected of her and executes orders with good comprehension.
Above all, her sense for stage combat is good: her punches and kicks have wonderful trajectories and she's right at home in the middle of battles.
I'll say it once again, "Is she really only 16?"... She's really amazing, I'm almost scared of what she may become.

These two were the healing force throughout the practice period.
Miss Ayane; she's overflowing with kindness and at first she seemed to have some problems with acting out scenes where she's shouting at others.
But, day by day, her acting improved by leaps and bounds and somehow it really touched me.

Miss Mizuki; she's young, only 17 years old, and left me with the same kind of impression as did Miss Oguri Yui.
She usually gives off a fluffy aura, but when she flips the acting switch on and off, she becomes a completely a different person. Her voice carries well and she's able to give well-knit acting performances; I think she'd probably be suited to being an actress.

In any case, these two healed us all. When they're together, their combined mascot-vibe becomes even stronger.
There's a scene in the play where these two are dancing together - that scene made my chest tighten up."

(A member of Hanagumi. She's a good observer.)
In the TV version she couldn't really shake off the nervousness and slip into the role naturally, which is why she gave off the impression of just talking as Yamauchi Mizuki. It seemed like she tried to cover her inexperience with straightforwardness.

Half a year has passed since then. Among the Hanagumi members, she's the one who's improved her performance the most. She's able to express a wide range of emotions, and during the classroom scenes she had a presence like that of a main character. I was really surprised. I think that she's been able to achieve that because she faced the play earnestly.

She may be awkward and may have times when she hates herself for being too straightforward. Even if that was the case, those who are able to catch hold of people's hearts are the earnest ones. That's what she's accomplished now with her growth. That's why she should be more gentle to herself. Have more confidence in your current self. You're able to become a wonderful idol - that's what I thought after seeing this play."

Zukkii will be one of the performing members for the Maya Music Festival in Bangkok on 9th December (2018/12/09). She commented in her Twitter that this'll be her first trip overseas!

it's been a while since her last gravure job (ENTAME september issue which released 30 july)

Zukkii had some kind of shooting today: her mobame contained photos of her in a Thumbnail stage costume (the denim one) and an alternate version of the Heavy Rotation costume (it was used at least during BHS 2015; looks like Zukkii wore Jurina's hair decoration). She said she danced a lot in addition to the shooting and might have muscle pain tomorrow.

She also has something tomorrow that she's really looking forward to - hopefully it'll be something good she can reveal to us later. And on Thursday she'll be performing in the theater (Team 4 stage) after quite a while!

She didn't disclose any further info, but I hope so! She did send another mobame that day with a cryptic content (translated an excerpt):

"There are many things to do, and I think that's really wonderful!!

It's not certain that it'll always be like this; there are days when I have no plans and I can wind down, but in the end I'm happier when I'm actively doing something.

I want to do AKB48-related activities!!

That's why I'm tackling the tasks in front of me with everything I've got!

To make my fans smile!!"

During yesterday's Showroom she revealed that she applied for the 48G singing contest. I have a feeling she might not get past the preliminaries, but it's good that she's challenging herself on different fronts.
