Great news!! Sorara is in senbatsu for the 61st single, it's her first senbatsu, congrats Sorara!!



This decision really surprised me. She was the first in 17th gen to get a solo job, when she won the auditions to act in the special drama with Yuiyui right after 17th gen's debut. but after that, Sorara didn't really get a push so I thought that maybe she just isn't a priority for management... Even though she seems 100% ready for it (in looks and skills). So I'm really happy that they actually picked her for senbatsu! This is such a great news and it might be my favorite thing about this senbatsu ^^ and Sorara looks super cute with twintails in the promo pic.

I can't wait for the promotions of the single and to see Sorara in many shows! This is exciting

Seems like they'll be a regular member there for 1 year.

Since the radio show is on Sunday 1.30 AM - 4.28 AM, it might be difficult to organize 17ki Kenkyuusei theater show on Sat/Sun from now on.
But Sorara was there at the show studio last night!

Some fans seems to think this a big deal to be selected for this radio show, can someone inform me of the significance of this show?
I can see big names as hosts, also seems like a good chance of improve their talking skills, but no more beyond that.

Well, that was unexpected

 

I'm a little late but Happy Birthday to Sorara! and I actually watched the second half of her birthday stage yesterday. I started watching from when they performed Darui Kanji, so I heard the chant (the one shared just above), it surprised me because of how loud it is, and I didn't understand that they said Coca-Cola (apparently because Sorara likes it), her reaction was so cute haha she was supposed to look serious but she laughed a bit, this was a fun idea from the fans XD

Generally the chants were so loud the whole time, and it was nice to see so much support for Sorara! I'm glad that the KKS are successful! ;w; Sorara looked so happy and she smiled so much. She also performed really well, as usual! and she did a nice speech at the end, she also mentioned the chant in Darui Kanji haha.

She had such a good first year in the group, and I hope that the next year can be great for her!!
