Extremely happy for Yokochan today. It’s such a pleasant surprise to see her at the front flanking Naachan. On her first senbatsu no less! Very well deserved in my opinion, DH finally makes use of Yokochan’s dance skills

I'm really beginning to believe the HoriPro rumors... Put on probation for a scandal yet being given a new photobook, the airdrop into a solo appearance on the nationally broadcasted Himitsu no Kenmin Show, a secret V-tuber YouTube account, and now being given the #2 position flanking the center on her 1st ever senbatsu.. Either this her lucky year or there is a really big agency making moves behind the scenes and gearing up for an announcement coming soon. Either way, congrats to her and all her success. They are well deserved and hopefully it keeps going, she's far to talented to be an unknown in the entertainment world

 

@Novakayne, of course it is. I'm not sure if it's HoriPro tho. I mean, let's be realistic here for a moment: "Ooooh she deserves it so much!". Well, if you told me that in 2019, I could agree that there was a time when she had some momentum. But back then she was never selected. Now, after all this time, with a lot of time on hiatus, when her sales aren't that good, when her skills aren't as polished, when no one imagined that she could be a contender... this happened. it's a strange timing, like Seichan's last senbatsu. You could say that they wanted a dancer for this choreo, but there are some shitty dancers in that senbatsu.

But if she signed with an agency... what about Gyoten? Because they started vtubing at the same time. Oops! No they didn't! It's not them!!!

 

well the PB was announced such a long time ago, idk if it's possible to connect that. As for the Vtuber thing, I think it's the Chinese part of the whole project that suggests this is more than some random DH decision as Yuiyui's YT channel was, though it's also been like half a year already and no explanation given yet, so the whole purpose is still a bit confusing, gotta wait and see.

you could also argue that someone in the management probably always had a thing for her because she's definitely got a lot of (second) chances over the years. Seeing her and Onishi it makes one wonder where some of the QUITTERS of 2019 could have been had they stayed... but most of them seem happy so it's all cool.

 

So, what you're trying to say is that those girls that are more outgoing and you imagine them having a closer relationship with the staff were all included in the senbatsu: Yoko, Onishi, Okabe, Shitao, Erii. Hey, those are your own words, don't look at me that way!
