    Back in September, 2020, Yuihan released a YT video about 5 books she recommended (posted in this thread). BuzzFeed has posted an interview with her.

    "I'm interested in feminism right now." Why she started talking in her own words as an idol
    "A book I want you to read anyway" -AKB48's Yui Yokoyama recommended one book on YouTube, "Kim Ji-young, born in 1982". How did she, an idol, read this novel, which was supported by many women in Japan?

    It's funny because I hadn't heard of this book before but literally earlier today, I found a thread on twitter of books recommended by Kim Namjoon from BTS, and this book was also on the list. Now that two people have recommended it, I hope I can find an English version of the book too!

    She is too busy making appearances on tv.

    "Yui Yokoyama of the idol group "AKB48" will appear on the variety show "Front Girl Ura Girl" (TBS series) that will be broadcast from 8 pm on April 14. In the program, Yokoyama's home will be premiered on TV in a project called "Ura Routine," in which about 50 cameras are installed at the home of a female entertainer to see their lives. In addition, it is said that a "makeup face" will also be shown.

    　The program is a talk variety show that talks about the ecology of women's "front and back" under the theme of "the true appearance of women that men want to know."
