i found out about Tomomi from her private video, sub'd. gotta rewatch again. lol

Since she already has the voice, she can be a good anime voice actress

She actually has been a voice actress in the ICE OVA anime, along with the rest of the ICE from AKB48 subgroup. I haven't watched it yet though unfortunately. I agree she has a voice that would suit cute characters

Thanks for mentioning the ICE OVA. I actually found the first episode with English subtitles and I watched it recently. The anime is decent with a really cool action scene that includes Kasai's character holding and firing a rocket launcher. XD Other than that the story is a bit slow, and lots of things are still left as a mystery. (maybe because it's the first episode so they purposely leave things open and unanswered).
As I expected Kasai didn't have to augment her voice to fit the anime character. :lol:

In fact, I think all the other AKBers used their normal voices too.
If anyone wants to see it, I'd be glad to share it.

I skimmed through it just to hear the voices, and I agree. From what I heard, I think she would have suited Erena's character better. I like Erena but I don't think she makes a good VA, it kinda sounds like she has a blocked nose or something like that *runs away*

^ Yea I was thinking the same thing. Kasai's voice would better fit a younger character. Her voice is just too cute to be used on a hot, mature looking woman. XD

You know who has a more nasaly voice? Narita Risa *runs away from Risa fans*

Another Kasai fan, welcome to the forums! I love her solo line as well, but my favourite Kasai bit is at the beginning when they're dancing before the singing starts.

After watching her private video (courtesy of the Aitakatta squad) I can tell I TOTALLY fell in love with her!

She is by far the most spontaneous, the most eager to flirt with the camera and the funniest of all other AKB48 members whose private videos I have seen up till now!

Gosh, I considered Takahashi Minami to be my favourite member but watching her video after Tomomi's, oh my goodness, she was so defeated!

Seems I have to rearrange my "fav-girls" list soon...

^ Yea, I thought her voice was already so cute, but when she said that line (and a couple of other lines), her voice became higher than what I thought was humanly possible and it just blew me away.

P.S. Kasai is a seiyuu in the ICE anime.

Glad I found it before I made another one haha. It's amazing how her smile can change her whole face and attitude. One scene she's dead serious and looks sad. Then she smiles and she's the most energetic and happiest person out of the bunch. Gotta love it

She's like a pearl. Rare and beautiful, but hard to find.
