I saw that too. So does that mean Amina will be in more musicals? That's good but I was hoping for her to get into a bigger and more popular agency like Otapro / horipro / ogipro.

Well, think of it this way... In a smaller agency she'll get more attention from her management than a girl in a larger one.

Im soooooo glad she wasnt in those productions >_>

look at Ogi pro..now its like flooding with AKB members

plus they try to do more Gravure things (which I dont like it that much)

and Atelier Duncan isn't that small of an agency either.
Pretty big one for a Musical actors/actress.

and perfectly suits for Amina who has fabulous voice suitable for musical! XD

CONGRATS AMINA!

Her work on footloose the musical must have had great reviews. Although call me selfish but i hope this agency will actually give her more work than just musicals. Some other girls in akb are part of agencies but they don't really benefit other than having a blog or few small jobs here and there (at least from the fans point of view). On another note while i wish amina the best, I hope other activities won't greatly interfere with her akb activities.
REMEMBER you love AKB, don't forget it! ( unless you're a greater actor than what everybody believes

Awesome. As popular as Amina is I knew it was just a matter of time before she would sign on with a new agency. The only downside I see to signing with a smaller agency is that the deal they made with AKS may not be lucrative enough to earn her a senbatsu position with AKB48. We can expect a big push on TV show appearances and such just like everyone else who has signed on with a new agency, but who knows if they have the funds to pay AKS to place in their newly signed talent in-front. Akicha's new agency paid AKS enough to place her in a senbatsu position in that new PV they shot in Guam. Lets just hope that same happens with Amina.

I'm hoping they would try out new things by taking Amina/ Haa-chan..(other than musical)
cuz they seems to be the youngest in the bunch XD(+ idols)

and I've been reading News on their talents, and someone did Voice acting for Japanese Dubbed Disney's Princess and the frog
and this guy did some narration thing on TV show as well...

so I'm hoping Amina could also get her voice acting job

This wk's WPB's AKB break History dealt with talks about last year's Election
and there were huge section about Amina which was SUPER touching

I'll put translation of important parts

..Election result now only left with the Best 10
There was one member in the corner who was looking down, sobbing.

「Continuing..next will be the 10th girl...」

The place was surrounded by heat
In that member's ear, Togasaki's voice seemed very low as if she was far far away from him.

That member's name is Sato Amina

「I knew that I was not that popular like the other girls...
Like in handshake event..my line would stop faster, and my fan letters were little compared to other girls
But even if they were little, I was happy to see fans cheering for me, and I really enjoyed singing in AKB48 Theater
so at first, I tried not to care about it too much..
But from Oogoe Diamond, 5th Gens, who were in AKB shorter than me, started to get chosen for senbatsu...
so I started thinking that I should appeal myself more.
But I did not have much chance for TVs nor Magazine shootings..so I pondered how I should appeal myself.

「I started out from borrowing K4th-SaishuuBeru Ga Naru Stage DVD.
I borrowed the Lesson place and started memorizing dance moves by myself.
At first, I started out one by one. Stage performances usually starts out with everyone singing 4 songs, then next comes the self introduction.
So, if I memorize 4 songs, I can stand in stage until the introduction.
and if I memorize until the middle of the stage setlist, I can participate in MCs.
By doing that, I gained more and more time to stand in stages, one song by sone song.
So, those fans who comes often knows that " Hey, Amina memorized set til this song "
I didn't want to let them think "ah It's same as last perf"
Plus, I wanted to stay on stage as long as I can..so I memorized it desperately.」

In conclusion, she learned all Team A,K,B, RS, G Rosso's stages dances/songs by herself
and continued to participate in all those stages.

Of Course, in all the 50-ish members, No one knew all team's stages
except Sato Amina.

「That day..I was in G Rosso perf.
It seems like I stressed myself out..I got hyperventilationtetany(breathing problem?)
So Staff was nursing me in the back stage.
While I was suffering with excessive breathing, one staff came, running.
Then gave me one paper which was Early-result notice.

There was "15th Sato Amina" on it
A name of a girl who was never on Senbatsu before.

「I rested thinking nothing. Then I realized.
"Hey..I'm actually doing okay!"
After that, Mocchi, who was same gen, sent me message saying "I'm in 14th! We are next to each other! Let's be in senbatsu together!"
That message made me realize that this many people actually voted for me」

Sato Amina tried not to look at the Mid-Result.

「After seeing the Mid-Result, if I didnt see my name, I knew I would hesitate on everything.
So I wanted to challenge election without looking, except early notices.
Before I went to Paris, I talked to my mom saying stuff like " If I get chosen in Senbatsu, everyone will be surprised right?"...well that being a surprise was kinda sad too LOL
But even in Flight back to Japan, I was like "I'll do something big!!" 」

Then the day of Election came.
And The first one to be called, 21st, Kuramochi Asuka was called upon.

「The Early notice said I was 15th..so I thought I'll be able to join Senbatsu.
But then for last result, Asuka was called 21st..so I was like "huh?.."
When I looked at Asuka's face, she also looking confused.
After that I got confused more and kept thinking "What was my rank in early notice??"
"Asuka chan sent me message saying Amina is next to me......so I'm lower then 21st, okay so I'll be UG.."」

After call for 21st and 13th, the 9 girls for UG were also called out.
But even in UG, Sato Amina's name was not called.

After that, Sato could not look up straight.
Only thing she was looking was her skirt, and fist.
Her tears starts to drop down to her hands.

「No one notices me after all.....people only notice girls on TV...」

....The thought : "I'll do something big!!" which she had in flight back home dissappeared at that point.

How long has this election been going on?..I wish this would end as soon as possible..

When Sato was thinking this, one voice arised.

「8th...Sato..Amina」

As soon as Togasaki called her up, Sato Amina stood up.
The place was full of applaud which was the loudest one of that day.

She couldn't walk properly. Even when she cried a lot before this call,
As soon as she stood in stage, even more tears came out in her eyes.
While crying, she started her speech

「I....decided to become AKB48 not as a step for becoming an actress nor singer..
I joined because I really liked AKB48...and I really wanted to be AKB48..
Because I wanted to participate be in different stage perfs, I learned different team's dance by myself..
I was not shining like the those AKB48 girls whose shown in TV/magazines..so I thought I was not helpful to AKB48..
But...I'm very happy that I was able to join Senbatsu...」

From the Mid Result to Final Result, Votes Sato received were 1423.
Which was the best amount to gain after mid-result.

This result taught us that something 'People trying their best even in place where spotlight isn't hit, will always be noticed by someone' would come true.

HOW CAN SOMEONE HATE THIS GIRL???????

I know some people would start out saying stuff like oh she's saying this cuz next election is coming up..
but whatever...seriously.............I'm very proud to be her fan

I'm DEF putting some votes for her!!

Whoever that fan was who put in like 300 votes for Amina at the last minute gave her the best gift he possibly could, I think. Of course, everyone else who voted contributed too, but still, that is fan dedication.

It was great to see a much deeper insight on her feelings during the last elections. The thing that stood out the most for me was not only her effort but the desire and passion to not take it as it is.
I've probably mentioned this before and am kinda bitter against some akb members (not hate just bitter) because somehow they got the fast track in terms of promotion and spotlight over amina (am glad she noticed that too).

In her RS generation amina would often be in the front and if memory serves me right she was promoted first compared to the other girls. I also remember that at the beginning there was a huge buzz over her however shortly after a couple of bad reviews mainly of her unbalanced eyes and apparently terrible voice then you quickly see other members namely the other RS get more spotlight. Its sad but it is these features mentioned above that many continue to hate her (for example down voting on our yearly member of the year polls)

I don't like to point fingers but here is the list of girls that debuted after her but i think overshadowed her:(in order)
Reina, Miho, Rie, Aki, Jurina, Asuka, Moeno, and Rino (the last three girls slightly after elections) I am not saying these girls don't deserve it but that's 8 girls added on to the current front girls that preety much gives everybody else in akb a harder chance of getting exposure.

I can go on and on but anycase YOU DID IT AMINA YOU DID SOMETHING SPECIAL!
Oh i forgot one thing, they often say a leader leads not by words but with actions and thats what amina just did. All her hard work paid off and was reciprocated by her fans who used their hard earned money to show that all her hard work was not gone unseen for that amina is a great leader.

I didn't really notice Amina like a month ago, but now she's in my top 10 and could possibly end up in my top 5. She's so sweet and adorable and caring and fwherhoghegehfoi HARDWORKING OMG.

I really hope she gets senbatsu again. T______T Totally deserves it.

Yes. This is such a big thing. Currently, pretty much all of the senbatsu/near-senbatsu members have always either been popular from the beginning, or are former (or current) RS. Ever since King Records took AKB, newer girls have always gotten more spotlight, whether they are former RS, RS, or SKE. I have to wonder if this'll change, as currently, I don't know if any girl can get near senbatsu without either having a history of being senbatsu often, or being popular ever since joining.

I'll bet that all of the girls see this happening. For instance in the H2 shows, Nonti and Ohori pretty much hated the RS since they got more attention than them. These two would make fun of the audience for supporting the new girls. I think CinDy has also said something along the lines of 'If you chant 'Miho' for me, you're not a fan of me, but Miyazaki Miho.' (Her old nickname was Miho.)
