uh....didn't have any idea...to me it's just cute talking....until i can get someone to translate the words...all i visualized in Mariko's version atleast is her beautiful self talking away...had no idea it was an angry Mariko(staged for the song Koike)...but now i know...thx for the info.
Happy in this case....wouldn't make any sense. right on.

I think in japan, others see Osakana as be weird for talking fun, but thats why I like yuka.

I've seen a lot of ways to translate it, and it sort of depends on the context, but I like "What the hell?" of "Why the hell?" I think the standard Japanese equivalent would be something like 何故 (naze), which means "Why?", but that doesn't really have the same impact.

"Nande yanen" is often used in comedy, where one person will say something stupid and the other will go "Nande yanen" and possibly slap the other guy.
